He saw the golden ray appearing in the sky which grew into big ball of fire changing from dark orange to dark yellow as it began to heat up in the earth, moving across as if it owns it. He wasn't interested in the sunrise but he was just trying to distract himself. He couldn't sleep all night just to wait for Ayat's call even though he knew that it takes 14 hours to reach there but still he was missing them badly.
'Allah Miyaan ! What's wrong with you Asad ? You are not aware of my importance right now. If I went to stay there for a week only then you will understand my importance.' He smiled as he remembered a stupid conversation they did a week back.
'I am missing you Zoya. I wish you would have left smiling then it wouldn't have been this painful.' He said while looking down at the green garden all around him.
'Ofcourse you are the one who is going to miss me. I am least bothered.' She answered him proudly in his thoughts.
'No ! You are not least bothered, I know you are missing me too.' He said hopefully while rubbing his eyes that were tired after a long hectic day and impatient night but were still not sleepy.
'Asad ?' Dilshad came out with a tray having two cups of coffee and sat on the bench beside him.
'Ami did she call you ? I guess they must have reached by now.' He asked her impatiently as soon as she sat beside him.
'Not yet. I hope she calls and they are safe there.' Dilshad said to him worriedly.
'Ayat will call me for sure and I know Zoya won't stop her.' said Asad hopefully.
'Don't keep doubts for Zoya's love for you Asad, I know she must be having a reason behind doing all this. She is innocent and possessive about you but she is not stupid that she will take this step without any reason.' Dilshad said to him as she thought that he must be angry on her.
'I know ami its not because of the small argument we did in the morning, its something else because she was already ready to go.' Asad said while checking his phone again to see if their is any call and took a cup from the tray. 'And even if I am angry then I know I can't stay for long time like her.' He said annoyingly while Dilshad smiled taking a sip from her cup.
'You should have told her that I am coming. Maybe she would have stopped.' Dilshad said to him.
'No she wouldn't have, she was wearing her running shoes. She was behaving like I have kept her here starving for food from last one month.' He said and shrugged his shoulders to lighten his mood while Dilshad laughed at his stupid joke.
'Don't worry. We will bring her back.' Dilshad said to him.
'Only you can. I have lost all my hope.' Asad said and sighed sadly while taking a sip.
'Don't say that. I know you are still hopefull just be brave.' Dilshad said to him while his phone buzzed in his pocket. He took it out and smiled when he saw the number.
'Hello Zoya ?' Asad picked up the phone and took her name.
'No abu. Itsh me Ayat Ahmed Khan, you didn't recognise my voish ?' She asked him in disbelief even though she haven't said anything before that.
'I would have Shona but you didn't say anything at first.' Asad reminded her with a smile on his face.
'Abu you know itsh a beautiful city with sho many beautiful places I saw while coming in the car.' She ignorred what he said and started telling him everything.
'And you know naani's housh is in the sky.' She said excitedly while stretching the last few words while Asad chuckled at her words and took a sip from the cup again.
'And where is your ami Ayat ?' asked Asad while Ayat looked at Zoya who was standing near the window.
'She is saying that she is shleeping.' Ayat said as she was told to say that by Zoya while Zoya turned back and looked at her in disbelief. Asad smiled enjoying Ayat's antics while Dilshad was happy to see Asad relaxed.
'Ask her when will she wake up ?' Asad asked her to irritate Zoya while Ayat turned toward Zoya.
'Ami abu is ashking when will you wake up ?' Ayat asked her innocently while Zoya walked toward the washroom ignorring Ayat's stupid question.
'Abu she went to change without even anshwering me.' Ayat told him with a pout on her face.
'How can she go to change when she is sleeping ?' Asad asked to confuse Ayat while Ayat realized that how stupid she was.
'Should I ashk her abu ?' She asked him confusedly while Asad controlled himself to not laugh at her stupidity.
'No just leave it. I want you to be in single piece here so better be careful while talking to her for few days.' Asad warned her while she didn't get anything.
'You know ami shaid that we won't shtay here, we will go to Najma Fufo's place after few days and I will meet Daadi finally.' She told him excitedly while calling Najma Fufo instead of 'Pupho'.
'But your daadi is already here.' Asad said and Ayat looked here and there.
'No she is not here.' She said confusedly while looking under the bed aswell. 'I checked under the bed too.' She increased his knowledge while Asad pinched the bridge of his nose.
'What would she do under the bed Shona ?' Asad asked annoyingly. 'I mean she is here with me, talk to her.' said Asad and gave the phone to Dilshad.
'Hello Ayat ! How are you beta ?' Dilshad asked her with a smile.
'Daadi !' Ayat stretched her name while screaming happily and both Asad and Dilshad could hear her screaming at the other end while Zoya came out of the washroom and wiped off the tears from her face.
'What happened Shona ?' Zoya asked her worriedly.
'Ami Daadi is already there, letsh go back.' Ayat said to her while doing little jumps on the bed and Zoya walked toward her.
'Give phone to Zoya Ayat. I want to talk to her, I will talk to you after that.' Dilshad said smilingly and she gave the phone to Zoya happily.
'Ami ? Are you really there ?' Zoya asked her on the phone.
'Yes ! I came here after you left. I thought I will surprise you all but here I am the one who is getting shock after shock.' Dilshad said sadly while Zoya was quiet as she wasn't sure what should she say. She walked toward the balcony while Ayat continued her game on I Pad.
'Zoya I don't remember when I taught you to run away from your problems but I wasn't expecting this from you.' Dilshad asked her while Asad was waiting to know everything. He took the phone from Dilshad's hand and kept in on loudspeaker so he could hear her aswell.
'Ami you don't know anything what he did to me.' said Zoya while wiping off her tears again from her face.
'What had he done Zoya ? Tell me if it would be his mistake then I will definately punish him but if its yours then I would think that their was some fault in my upbringing.' Dilshad said to her while Zoya was shocked at her words.
'Are you blaming me for everything ami ?' She asked in disbelief.
'No I am not. I just can't believe that my daughter did all this, he was never with me. I have used my brain on you not him.' Dilshad said to her in stern tone.
'Don't get angry on her ami. She is already upset and alone there.' Asad whispered sweetly in her ear while Dilshad glared at him to not interfare.
'Tell me Zoya why you left your house ?' Dilshad asked her calmly this time.
'Because Asad is cheating on me. He is having affair with Sophia.' Zoya said to her calmly but Asad could feel pain in her voice. He was going to say something when Dilshad stopped him.
'Who told you that ?' Dilshad asked.
'I know that because I am not stupid as he thinks I am.' said Zoya a bit harsh.
'Tell me everything Zoya.' Dilshad said to her while Zoya started telling her the whole conversation she did with Sophia and the Receptionist next day. Asad was shocked after listening to that as he was expecting a little bit lies from Sophia but he didn't knew that she will make up a story so bad about him.
'She is lieing Zoya.' Asad couldn't control anymore and interrupted her final words while Zoya was quiet for a while as she wasn't expecting his voice.
'Ami I don't want to talk to him. Please tell him to stay away from me.' Zoya said with hate in her tone.
'No I won't. Just listen to me carefully, I am not cheating on you I can never do that. Sophia is lieing I wasn't with her that ----- ' Asad said sternly but Zoya disconnected the call as she wasn't interested in listening more lies.
'Why did you interfare Asad ? I was talking to her.' Dilshad said to him angrily.
'I couldn't control anymore she was accusing me even I haven't done anything like that.' said Asad annoyingly and threw his phone away. 'To hell with her ! She thinks I am dieing here for her.' He said angrily although he really was missing her badly and stood up to go.
'Where are you going ?' Dilshad asked him while standing up. His eyes were moist as he turned back.
'I don't know why Sophia did it but I won't let her live in peace after what she did to me. I can't believe that she said all this and here I was the one helping her all the time in this new place.' He said in disbelief and Dilshad could feel anger in his voice.
'But we have a flight to catch ?' Dilshad reminded him as Zoya was more important to her.
'Who is waiting there for me ? She doesn't care at all about what I want to say. She is not my Zoya anymore.' He said and smiled sarcastically while Dilshad walked toward him as she couldn't see tears in his eyes.
'She is yours and you know she is waiting for you then stop thinking negative.' Dilshad tried to convince him. 'And I know she will come back with us after she knows the truth.' Dilshad said hopefully with a smile.
'Sometimes I feel like to let her go so she can realize she was wrong but I don't want to see her guilty when its too late because I know she loves me. I think its all because of this house that I am feeling all this.' He shared his thoughts with her and at the end he was again hopeful.
'Yes its because of the house so don't think too much and concentrate on what you have to do next.' Dilshad said as she couldn't see him heart broken at all.
'I want her to be back by hook or by crook.' He said stubbornly. 'But I have to clear these misunderstandings first.' He said as he remembered what Sophia said to her and walked outside while Dilshad walked behind him as she couldn't let him go alone when he was angry.
'But I promise I won't talk to Zoya after she is here.' said Asad angrily while starting the car.
'I guess I know about your promises already.' Dilshad sighed sadly with a mischievous smile on her face. Asad ignored her as his mind was again lost on what Sophia said about them.

'Asad ! Calm down.' Dilshad said to him for the fifteenth time while he was still wandering in Sophia's drawing room and trying to control his anger.
'We can discuss everything politely.' Dilshad said as she was aware of his anger already while he was waiting for her to come. He stopped in his midway when he saw her father coming inside the room. They were shocked to see him as according to Sophia he was in ICU.
'Mr Shah ? What are you doing here ?' asked Asad confusedly while shaking hand with him.
'Where else am I supposed to be Asad ? This is my house.' He said with a smile and asad understood that heartattack was a lie too. How cheap she could be ? She lied about her father's health. He thought while Dilshad could see his eyes turning red.
'Where is Sophia ?' He asked directly coming to the point.
'She is out with friends.' Sohail Shah said and told him to sit but Asad wasn't interested in sitting with him.
'You must be his mother ? Sophia told me that you both would come next week but I wasn't expecting all of a sudden.' He said while looking at Dilshad while Asad and Dilshad exchanged a confused look.
'Why were we supposed to come ?' asked Asad while looking at him, still standing.
'Because you want to marry her.' He said confusedly as he was also feeling something fishy in Asad's behavior.
'What ?' Dilshad asked with her eyes wide open while Asad was dumbstruck as he was getting to know Sophia more than enough in one day.
'I am married if you don't know.' Asad reminded him rudely while Sohail Shah was shocked now.
'She told me you divorced your wife a year back.' Sohail Shah said in low voice as if reminding himself while Asad's hands turned into perfect fists as he couldn't imagine for a second about divorcing Zoya.
'Where is she ? I want to meet her now !' Asad said loud enough with hate in his tone while Dilshad also wanted to see this girl who was so confident about getting Asad.
'I think their is a misunderstanding. Just sit down Asad ! We will discuss everything.' Sohail Shah said sheepishly as he was also not expecting this mistake by his daughter.
'Misunderstanding ? She is trying to ruin my life. First she tried to seduce me but when it didn't work out then she tried to fill my wife's mind with crap. I will surely not let happen what she wants to do.' Asad told him angrily in one go while he couldn't believe on his ears.
'No ! She can't do all this.' He said in disbelief.
'She was always capable of doing every cheapest act one could ever imagine, she even told me that you are hospitalized after your heartattack.' Asad told him as he couldn't control himself anymore while Dilshad looked at Asad's back from where she could see a girl coming inside.
