We see the office of the news paper, its late at night, the press is on.. Newspapers are getting printed… a guy is asleep, covered his face with paper, his phone rings, A guy waling on a thread mil, says that only hard working people stay awake when the rest of the world is asleep…, he adds that he wants to change the head lines of today's paper… the guy (pandey) replies that lots of papers are done printing.. Pandey replies that he doesn't run the press for money, he could have done that even buy selling groceries, but he wants power.. We they see his face… he is Singhania (Vikram Ghokle)… pandey shuts down the press… a reporter comes there and asks him about the news… Pandey tells him that the news has changed as Sinha is now a minister, the journalist wonders how they can change the news at this time, with so much loss? Pandey replies the same thing, that the reason is that he is a journalist and not a grocery sales man. The journalist asks him the difference… pandey replies, since journalism is all about truth, adventure, even their boss is like that. He adds that every news is the most important for a person having tea in the morning, but the same news is worth rupees 2 in the evening, and then only the person buying paper for cheap (raddi wala) decides the worth of their news, and the day after, some one could be eating on news… the journalists asks about Sushant… pandey says that sushant doesn't get along with the boss.. And wonders what he is upto now?? There we see a guy placing a camera secretly in his bag and recordning the surrounding… he is none other than Sushant.. He walks around the place.. it's a small village scene, a dance goes on (beedi jalilee)… people dance on the stage, sushant sits next to a guy who gives him the info of Sinha's PA's secret meeting… The dance goes on.. The video mean while records everything… we see Sushant's face… Sushant takes a file and secretly records everything thats on the paper.. The guy shows him some people who are between a deal.. Shushan tries to video tape them, but cant see them clearly, so takes the bag with the camera and goes near, trying to get a good frame, his card falls down, another guy sees it and recognizes him and runs to catch him, but shushant escapes.. Sinha's PA says that he will bribe shusant, his college tells him that shushant is not the guy who can be bribed… and wonders how will they tell Sinha…
There shusant calls up Pandey and tells him that he has some news regarding Sinha.. Pandey asks him about is whereabouts. Sushant says that he is in panvel… Pandey tells him that Sinha is now a minister, Sushant replies that he has news that will shake the government.. Pandey asks him to get something from Vasudha, shusant replies that he is not a peon, the Pandey laughs and tells him that he is the one in love with vasu, not the peon… Shushant laughs and hangs up saying that he now he will be a peon for Vasu… he then realises that he cant call her now, as she might be in a pooja…
Next we see a temple, where lots of pundits are gathered around… we see a girl doing the pooja at the shiv temple, its none other than Vasundra… She then calls shushant, shushant reaches home and unlocks his door, vasu tells him that she is at the temple, he replies that ook, she must be there for ask forgiveness on behalf of her dad and asks him that why didn't he call since a week? Shushant replies that he called once a day for the last seven days but she was too busy with her dad… vasu says that she is here to pray for her dad as its her dad's birthday and she is here to ask God if he can give shushan some brains and a heart.. Shusant replies that if he has a heart he would work for her Baap (father) and if he had brains he wouldn't be in love with her.. Vasu asks him to stop calling her father - BAAP and to call him papa.. He replies that he would do so, when they get married.. Vasu asks him to stop making excuses… shushant says that he is coming home.. Vasu says that she knows that he is coming to see her, he says that he will come there to meet her dad.. Vasu laughs saying that everyone knows that he makes up such excuses to come see her… she then hangs up… an old lady (I guess the dadi) comes there and asks her if she was talking to sushant.. Vasu says yes, and adds that she is trying to get hold of Vedant, but he isn't picking up the call..
Neext we see a beach, where a lot of college students cheer for Vedant.. A vollyball match begins.. Vedant makes his entry… he wins the match.. He then calls up vasu(who is in the car).. Vasu yells at him saying that he needs to reach home soon as its Dad birthday… vedant says that he will be there soon… vasu gets annoyed at the traffic…
Next we see Vikram coming down the strais and goes to get the remote, vasu runs in and snatches it away saying that he can spare 5 mins from his news. Dadi then comes in.. vikram asks her that they both went together so how did Vasu come back alone? Dadi replies that vasu was so exicted to come home, so she ran back home leaving the car behind and even fought with the driver, who has no decided to quit… they all alugh.. Vasu asks her dad to accompany her to his boss.. He laughs that she(vasu) is his only boss.. Vasu asks him to accompany his boss then.. And takes him in front of the Idol and puts tillak on his head and asks him to pray… he replies that he doesn't want anything… vasu asks him to atleast thank God for what he has… Vikram says that yes, he is thank-ful for one thing, for having a daughter like vasundra.. He bows his head down.. Vasu cires and says that she is shocked to see a man who has never bend down in front of anyone, is now bowing down for his daughter… we hear some one laughing… Its Vedika… vedika laughs that if this was in the evening, all this crying would remind her of a TV show… vasu reminds her that its dad brithday… vedika says that she knows, but she couldn't come in the temple where they were, with yesterday's clothes, otherwise her dad would get angry… vikram says that its no one's fault,, he adds that vasu and her are his daughters, but vasu's day starts when vedika's night starts, as she is awake all night.. Vedika says that all secrets are unvield at night… se adds that what ever she is, she is still his daughter.. And wishes him… he turns away.. Vedika says that its not fair and says that atleast he could have thanked her, she knows that he doesn't love her, but she could have atleast thanked her.. Vikram thanks her sarcastically and says that all her sleeplessness in visible on her face and asks her to sleep… she says that she has no one to sleep next to.. And thanks to him, she has to sleep alone everyday.. Vikran says that he has made few mistakes in his life, and she is the biggest… vedika says that yea, she only counts his mistakes, tahts her job… vasu asks them to let it go.. She asks vedika to forget it for today, as its dad's birthday.. Vedika says that she knows that he hates her, she adds that her dad has made a good image in front of the world and at home, he treates them badly… vasu replies that she (vedika) has made an bad image of dad in front of her… vedika says that she is the one who suffered, she and her mom… her mom stayed in a coner and cried and dad didn't care.. Vasu asks her to behave and says that she has given a perfect gift to dad.. and questions her that what hasn't she got? What is she deprived of? Vedika asks her to stop fighting for that man.. Vasu says that the man she fights for every day, takes her (vedika's) abuse.. Vedika asks her to see the reality, otherwise she will repent.. Vasu says that reality means that see bad things in her dad, then that's not possible.. Vedika asks her to not blindly belive in that guy as all this that she is saying is her(vasu's) best interset. Vasu asks her to stop being rude to her father for that… Vasu walks away.. Vedika gets furious and asks her to not turn her back against her and says that she has no right to talk, as she drinks from her father's money, and she has no say in it, infacct she has no say in the house as, vasu asks her if she (vedika) has any say in the house… vedika replies that this house isn't hers, she (vedika) is the legal daughter of this house, and not her, since she (vasu) is an ilegal child… vasu turns around and stands shockingly and speechless. Viren Singhania turns opens the door and is sterned… the episode ends with VIRRUDH back ground music…
