Smriti Irani

I don't know tht will Smriti be successful in anyother character but i definately think Viruddh is a show with unique concept n seems interesting..looking forward tonight n i'm very well sure tht Smriti is not gona let her viewers let down... 😉

The way Virrudh is promoted and marketed, it looks like a sure shot winner but then so did serials like Kulvaddhu, Durgesh Nandini, Jeete Hain Jiske Liye etc...In fact JHJL has the veteran actor Renuka Sahane!!! but they all have been unsuccessful in getting good TRPs plus getting SONY up the scale and compete with Zee and Star Plus!!!Infact Sahara has taken the No 3 rank from Sony...

We are also seeing serials like Kulvaddhu and Durgesh Nandini bein pulled out in middle....So, its very difficult to say whether Viruddh will gspell magic for SONY or not!!!

I sincerely hope that it does as I just love Sushant and Smriti...

But I feel it will not be able to gather the TRPs as we expect....Somehow, Ekta always manages to get the channel where her serial reigns up the scale...and I guess Sony has accepted that and hence has give her the afternoon slot!!

i think her look in virudhh is very similar to her age so i really like it 😳

She looks very nice.She plays the role of her age in thodi se zameen thoda sa aasman but looks more smart in this looks. I am dying to see the show.

it will be really big in the first few weeks regardless of the story line. just having Smiti in the show it makes it big. now if the show will be hit or a miss .. that time will tell. however one thing for sure that smiti will get alot of credit from the show..

i really like the first episode 😊 .the story ,acting,concepts all r gr8.smriti is one of the finest actresses in telly.but after watching today's episode i must say she is a good producer also 👏 👏 .

The way Virrudh has been promoted compared to shows like Kulvaddhu is to a much greater extent. The depth of marketing by Sony has increased such as traffic points and awards. So my view is that compared to thier last hit shows JJKN and Kkusum no show has yet been promoted like Virrudh.

Yes many shows have been pulled out of the middle. This can happen to Virrudh, Sony do the leaast likely things such as keep shows like ELAS on air and shows like Kulvaddhu off air.

I have heard that Sahara one hasn't taken the #3 slot but Sony hasn't fallen that far down the scale whereby it has lost the #3 slot. You can't ignore shows that are gaining TRP's such as ELAS, TKTG (not very good), Aahat and CID (decent). These ratings have as as far as I know kept Sony in the #3 slot and no Sahara hasn't taken this position yet but should if Sony doesn't do something about thier TRP's.

Far as the TRP's for Virrudh is cocerned, Sony has a bad habit of promoting new shows more then thier current shows....if the story line is good then the show will fair well but if it doesn't gather attention Sony will not support the show especially when Indian Idol is next on the list. I feel from the first episode the show is better then any show currently running on Sony but only the launch barometer will tell the hidden truth..
