This is a TOI article from 2002. Apparently Armaan changes his name to Munish before the release of "Jaani Dushman" for good luck. I guess he changed it back when the film was a critical & box office disaster 😆

Armaan Kohli. Naam toh suna hoga? . Well, the used-to-be-actor has returned to the silver screen once again thanks to dad Raj, who intentionally ventured into making Jaani Dushman - Ek Anokhi Kahani in order to re-launch his son Armaan.
The actor has for luck purposes changed his name to Munish. That's not all. Senior Kohli seems to have very strategically planned the film, and intentionally signed on the likes of Sunil Shetty and Sunny Deol, so that the established stars could do their job of crowd-pulling while his struggling actor-son Armaan (oops...Munish!) could prove himself as a performer yet again.
The film is to hit the screens on the 16th of this month. Now whether this will prove to be ananokhi kahani remains to be seen.
