Well, Kashi, Mansi et al,

It is good to be right for once as regards the screenplay!

As I had felt yesterday, there was NO Jalal-Jodha-Ruqaiya trio plotting against Adham, there were NO flashbacks that were so desperately awaited, and Mahaam's rantings about such a conspiracy track were shown up to be just a figment of her Medici-Borgia psyche. @red was a non starter this time.

As a matter of fact, though I had cited the Jalal-Ruqaiya scene and the solo one by Jodha to buttress my argument, I had not cited the most telling one, the precap. When Ruqaiya comes and tells Jodha that she had learnt of Jodha's role in preventing the talaq from Jalal, it was blindlingly obvious that there had not been any coordinated activity at all. That was really the clincher, and it is curious that no one else spotted it either.

See mansi , i felt the same and that made me watch the episode quite a few times but the logic does not add up , that is if we are taking into account all the scene shown to us and not including anything on our own , bu
t let's see wat happens today ... iam very eager to see today's episode .

I have just received some info which seems reliable that the love letter track will start only on Friday. So I think today the flashbacks are almost certain!
Incidentally, my own feeling is that the Creatives will never include some dialogues for characters unless the dialogues have some definite purpose. With this logic in mind, I feel that Maham's assumptions of a saazish between Jalaal-Jo-Ruq cannot be just wasteful meanderings of her brain. That's why I am thinking there may be some meaning and purpose to her dialogues.

No...you are not wrong...I felt that way too...but all of Maham's actions now will only serve to widen the chasm between her and Imperio...yesterday, what was interesting was how her plans backfired in the Imperial court...she had carefully planned all of her and her half wit son's statements...but then gets a googly when Rex decides to hand him over to the baying crowds outside...and that he holds the crime of insulting an Imperial Queen higher than all others...and finally decides to hand judgement over to Narcissa...who in a classic serve and volley...tosses the ball back to him...
There is no sympathy for his Colostral brother ...none...he has exhausted all of it...
And Big a Momma goofed big time by going back on her Prime Ministerial statements...of being a servant of the court and dispensing fair justice...above all else...the mother did come first...and she chose her own over her MilkFed son...
Telling action...that one..!!

Well, Kashi, as I had written earlier, I do not think there was anything more than what was shown onscreen on Monday and Tuesday, and so much fervid speculation all went to waste. No flashbacks, as you had predicted, for the simple reason that there was nothing to show.

Jodha made that suggestion abotu Ruqaiya addressing the people (she did a very good job of it) and Jalal picked up the ball and ran with it. He changed his mind about the retroactive part after he saw the rage and anguish of the people about this provision. The farman was prepared in 15 minutes, whatever Mahaam might think. End of story.

Your @blue is spot on, and I am sure that is exactly what happened. I suppose the stone that hit Mahaam somehow shook some of Jalal's frozen grey cells out of their torpor and got them working.😉

Mahaam is a Catherine de Medicis and Lucrezia Borgia rolled into one, and now she is going off the deep end. So to take her ramblings about the trio plotting against her and Adham seriously is pointless, and that is what I had felt and said yesterday. I am glad to be right for a change.

Nice post mansi

Am i happy that this track has finished but i doubt we would get to see any flashbacks , because Maham's theory to sum up the events was just to update us how the trio came together , but wha was not highlighted was when ? . I guess , it al started with jodha's determined visit to armory that night , she suggested a plan which served both the purpose as per jalal , one get rid of adham and second gets the law in place but iam not sure he discussed this with jodha . To me it looked like he took the idea and worked on it with Atga khan and then asked ruqu only to implement the stage one, he did not open the cards to her for sure which is quite evident by her behaviour .

And jodha was also not kept in loop further because otherwise we would not be shown her running from pillar to post and worrying about jalal thinking that he might spill his wrath on the avaam , which was the key player in this whole set up . Jodha knew tht jalal's love for maham did out weigh his love for anyone else and so was worried for jalal and the outcome of events had anything gone wrong.

The scene tht happned in DEK was a pre-planned one but only by jalal, at the most i think he might have asked ruqaiya to levae the decision onto him but it was jalal's determination to uproot adham from start that took its effect and he purposely said that he would hand him over to avaam because he knew his badi -ammi would barge in and save her son's life ,which he was ready to give away too because for the price of AK's life, jalal was planning to reduce him to bits.

Maham is just shown connecting all the peices because jalal did outsmart her .

That is my take , i hope they show the flashbacks but iam not fully confident that they will, let's see.
