Hey guys,

I'm closing this post for now but it will be trashed later in the night because of the pictures posted.

Why it's being closed and will be trashed is because Pashmeen is a part of Barun's personal life which he doesn't like discussing in the open. And because of which there have been fights in the past. Therefore, let's not discuss Pashmeen in here.

I know recently, Daljeet-Shaleen's baby's announcement was stickied, that was only because there had been public announcement about it and Daljeet and Shaleen are both celebrities. In Barun's case, Pashmeen is not and therefore, it's not alright for their personal life to be discussed or their personal pictures to be posted.

I would like to know when has Barun Sobti ever refused from answering anything about his marriage or personal life ...

As to the other point ... None here is discussing Pashmeen ... These are simple wishes from fans of Barun Sobti ... Its not our fault that his wife is not a celebrity. Just because there is one set of fans who cannot tolerate Barun Sobti being wished by his fans for his real life, how is it fair to deprive the other set who does.

Same has happened before too ... Just because one set of fan is abusive and is after Mods neck another set of fans who tried at one point their level best to maintain rules and regulations has been penalized.

Double standards at its best.. There are always different rules for Barun in IF.

Yep just a simple anniversary wishes thread got closed. Daljeet and Shaleen being celebrity example doesnt cut the ice here. So what if they are celebrities, they do have personal life and pics. When their personal pics are allowed then why simple wishes cannot be.

Nobody discussed Pasmeen in the thread, just wished them both. You cannot wish just Barun😆

And when did the mods decide themselves that he doesn't like to talk about his wife or marriage. He always mentions his wife in his IV's

There is no problem to post p*** ffs, rape in ffs, discuss private parts drool over it shamelessly, no problem to link and talk abt actors life, post gutter posts for invariably all age groups, discuss all sort of rubbish under the sun in this forum

yea the other reason being only celebrities was involved in Daljeet;s thread. in that case, Shaleen was not a part of IPK forum same as Pashmeen had no part here.. hmm. rules as its been called..

anyways we had expected this to close soon and we don't have any regrets. Post involving genuine wishes and quotes being trashed while all those rubbish with all inside sources about actors personal life still exists.. Jai Ho

Also nobody does official announcement of their anniversary. That's ridiculous if Mod is saying that we could have celebrated if there was any 😕

I wished Barun Sobti ... Pashmeen happens to be his better half ... How does it even matter?

I remember this very forum used to roll their eyes because the guy was so much in love with hhis wife and could not seem to stop talking about her at every given possibility. How is that not wanting to talk to an extent that the forum has issues with fans wishing Barun Sobti on his marriage anniversary which very much an official thing.

Like Barun Sobti himself said " I have never hidden anything about my marriage or my wife Pashmeen Manchanda"

The thread was Wishing a couple and nothing else. Nobody discussed any personal life of Barun and Pashmeen. Whatever quotes were put, were from the interviews of Barun, where, he himself revealed those things.

Dear Mod:

I do not get why the thread should be thrashed.. lock it fine.. why trash just because some members are abusive and loud .. that does not make sense.. so many FF/OS etc containing objectionable content by IF's own COC standards are kept on the site(sometimes locked but sometimes not) then why this harsh trashing of anniversary thread..

these pictures that are being claimed as "personal" is all over the social networking sites and even Barun himself has seen some of the edits of these pics presented personally to him.. so i really do not get your logic AT ALL... its a different matter if you are scared of some fans.. at least say that and still lock it.. why trash

Yes he himself signed them ... did not object & even for one edit said its sweet ... so how does IPK Mod decide that he objects ???

the post was made only to wish a legally wedded couple who are out in there in the society as man and wife... ! there is nothing to hide.

Have seen hundreds of fanfictions in this forum which is borderline vulgarity... never closed ...

If there has been fights in the forum because fans took any name, i would like to know whats the stand of the Forum as a responsible site. who are to be encouraged? those who spread baseless rumors? ???

Does that mean fearing forum fights, people cant celebrate things that exist in REAL?

If fights had to be avoided IF as a site should have taken care of how not to spread fake rumors...

some moderation should have been there when the personal life of actors were discussed in the filthiest way here.
