To IPK Mods *DT members reply on page 9* - Page 7

Dear DT,
We can understand the reason behind closing the post but whats the need of trashing the same ????
No morphed pics were there..all r real pics of the actor with his wife. Few shared by fans, few by some other sources and few by barun himself.
Trashing the thread doesnt make any sense when there s nothing offensive or abusive.

I kept quiet as i am the most notorious person here who fight with everyone, i mean allegedly.

the post was made only to wish a legally wedded couple who are out in there in the society as man and wife... ! there is nothing to hide.

Have seen hundreds of fanfictions in this forum which is borderline vulgarity... never closed ...

If there has been fights in the forum because fans took any name, i would like to know whats the stand of the Forum as a responsible site. who are to be encouraged? those who spread baseless rumors? ???


Does that mean fearing forum fights, people cant celebrate things that exist in REAL?

If fights had to be avoided IF as a site should have taken care of how not to spread fake rumors...

some moderation should have been there when the personal life of actors were discussed in the filthiest way here.

Barun always mention abt his wife. and I dont remember him saying that he dont like to discuss abt his personal life specially wife.. do anyone??
I know he says he is private person but still he himself mention abt his wife. so there was nothing wrong abt ts thread ..

because they are afraid of fights bhagu and for that we will have to adjust. I have seen and read people around him saying to fans who demand for pictures from their get-together that he does not like the idea of posting any pictures from their friendship gathering, so what about that? Still i can see a 100 friendship posts here. In that case only, arshi and the characters can be discussed. If we wish them on their b'day that also becomes personal na? Again, who made the official announcement of their b'day, it will have to come from their parents, right? So, in that case b'day threads also should not be allowed here.

To list off the rules. It has been said time and again that PERSONAL PICTURES of the actors are NOT allowed to be posted on India-Forums. What the actors do in their free time or when their anniversary is has NOTHING to do with IPKKND.

The rule is RIGHT here:

30. Discussions on Actor's Personal Life : You have right to comment on actors, their acting & their style while not crossing the line but to comment on actors personal life & people who are part of their personal sphere won't be appreciated here at IF. What any celebrity do in their personal life is their Personal Matter. Its their life & they have complete freedom to live it the way they wants to. We are no one to interfere in it.

Along with this are also those rules that have always existed in the IPKKND forum and were later on implemented throughout India-Forums. The main rule which was obviously broken:

8. No thread on Dev Team working: No threads shall be opened criticizing the functioning of the Dev Team. If you have any issues contact the section Dev Team by PM and sort it out but do not create a scene by starting a thread here. No personal attack 'direct/indirect, abusive/sarcastic shall be tolerated.

9. No Stretching the Issue or Discussing the Matter After DT has Posted Warning: Though we urge you all to ignore and report, many of you ignore that and reply back. Also, despite DT posting warnings, members still stick to that incident instead of discussing the topic at hand. This stretches the issue. There is no need for you to reply back if the DT has already dealt with the issue. If people are found doing so, action will be taken.

Discussing the Dev Team: Lately there are lots of topics being created on the forum against one member of the DT or the entire DT. We realize that it's because you are not sure how things are handled or upset at the way things are handle. You may disagree with the way the issue was taken care and that's fair. However we want you to not create such topics that question or criticize the DT in the forum. The feeling arises that we want to keep things under cover. However that is not the case. We do want to hear your complaint but we also want to be fair to the people in question. All sides need to be heard objectively and bringing this in the forum just adds more fuel to the fire. By the time the whole story is heard in the forum the atmosphere becomes ugly and negative and we want to avoid that. If you have a complaint PM the DT person and if you are not satisfied follow the hierarchy and PM the next in command. When you are contacting us with your concern be civil and explain your point in detail so we completely understand your standpoint.

Now, for all those who have concerns regarding my moderation in the IPKKND forum, sorry but I've been here for the past 1 year and there were NO concerns when I was closing all those anti-Barun posts but one post that is about Barun's PERSONAL LIFE gets closed and all those members start thinking that I'm against Barun and have double standards. Way to go, that's actually quite disappointing.

As for when Barun said that his personal life is his personal life, wrong use of words on my part. The over-sharing of his pictures with his family members is NOT for everyone to comment on and use as their signature. That's just being completely ignorant and posting picture after picture of a celebrity from their time away from the camera.

If anyone has to say something to the DT (specifically me) then reach us via PM. This thread closes here because really, it serves no purpose.
