Jodha was gorgeous, yes. Dignified, extremely.

But she wasn't the only one who had political importance, Ruq & Saleema had the same, if not more importance.

She was the mother to the heir hence the MUZ. But a lot of facts in this article. are well, not facts.

If we go by real history, Ruqayya & Salima had a higher influence n power in Akbar's life and Mughal empire;

Princess of Amber got whatever power she has just for being mother to Mughal heir not out of love or something. She is not the 3rd wife, she happens to be his 6-7 wife ( there is lot of ambiguity) & first hindu wife;

Top notch historians like Vincent Smith to Prof Satish Chandra, former UGC chairperson no historian have mentioned about Jodha bhai, so is Akbarnama or jahangir nama;

moreover in Jahangir nama we find Jahangir praising Ruqayya and calling her a Akbar's close confidant

Thanks for sharing this post.

Other than Jahangir, all other kids were to concubines.(Read in some other article) But given to Salima and HB for parvarish. Based on this serial, Jodha/Hira looks likes a honest personality. So naturally when Jahangir killed Abdul Fazl, she would have stood with Akbar rather than supporting her own son. Other than Jodha, everyone stood for Jahangir.

May be that is one of the reason, he got more love and respect for his step mothers.

I may be wrong, but this is my view.

No offence about the post but you should once go through history_geek's posts to know her position in court and in Akbar's life. Don't believe those who don't have authenticated source of information.
