About Caroline hating Damon -

Caroline's dislike/hate for Damon is justified. But it's justified I think in relation to her personal reasons for hating him - he abused her, tormented her, tried to kill her. But the one thing I don't like about Caroline that's being emphasized so much this season is hating Damon for things like killing. I know they are vampires and their morals are probably on a different level but I feel like she can't really call Damon dangerous for killing when it's almost second nature to vampires to kill. She's killed, Stefan's killed, Elena's killed, Matt (not even a vamp but a human) killed also. None of these people have spotless records when it comes to killing. And what's worse is that five seasons in, sometimes Caroline's rants about Damon seem like she hates him for no reason and makes it seem random, even to a viewer who knows Damon and Caroline's history. And this is just an example of poor storytelling. Damon never apologized for what he did to Caroline and Caroline doesn't have to like Damon just because he's nicer to her. When a person who abuses you becomes nicer, it doesn't mean you should like them or have to like them. Damon being nice to Caroline or even saving her life doesn't mean she should like him or that she owes it to him to be polite and nice. That kind of abuse that's etched into your memory doesn't go away just because your abuser is nice to you. However, her calling Damon evil and dangerous comes off as hypocritical because they all kill and most of the time, they are never shown facing any consequences. Stefan is compassionate so we at least see him agonizing over his kills or regretting that he killed someone most of the time but almost all of the other characters show very little concern over their actions and suffer from no consequences so they just sort of brush it off. I think the writers should go head on with Damon and Caroline's issues and address them rather than just leaving it like it is and having Caroline be seen as just a Damon/Delena hater.

i want katherine to find her true love..which by the way is stefan..she did love him (season 1 or was it 2 - all those flashbacks)

caroline - somebody send her to new orleans sooon..before camie starts to grow on me..

and elena..well someone just kill her 😆..annoying woman!

damon!😳 😳 😳 is better off brooding..and a new doppleganger..who is actually nice and a selfish loon

My GOD! Hell of an episode it was. Straight after 501, I genuinely loved this one and watched it twice in a day! (502, 506, 507. Thats all I liked. Others were yaakk!)

There were so many good things! First things first...My Bonnie hater heart was melting from Season 4 ending and surprisingly, I even like her now. May be its the bold new hair cut! 😉 And shockingly, my Caroline lover heart is turning into stone. They are ruining her character by following so called 'epicness' in some sunk ship. GOD! I can't tolerate her now. I used to like her so much, but after 408, it was marginally decreasing with each piece of shitty word she mentioned about my bb/my hubby aka Damon and my bbs Delena. Now I am not sure what to do with her. So, this is what I will do. Avoid her nonsense regarding Damon and Delena.

Steferine. They make sense. I no more prefer Caroline, coz I am not liking Caroline now. Plus it wont make sense coz Caroline is SE shipper's queen so she won't come between those two who are not even together now BUT according to Caroline's blond mind, they are so called f**king epic! 😆 So she will feel little guilt that she came between their so called epic love. 😆 BUT. I loved Steferine. Coz, Katheine put him in place, Stefan was so boring with his stupid man pain and all about himself, self pity and blah blah but Katherine showed him that sometimes you have to SUCK IT UP and STOP f**king complaining! 😡 I like these two working like this. One proving for each other!

Damon. ❤️ Yay! Finally...my baby got his own storyline. It was so heartbreaking to see last few minutes! Damon was tortured. And he will be tortured. I am gonna love this hurt, coz I am sucker for Angst and Hurt/Comfort. Finally, I will get to know what happened so bad in 50s that Damon had to turned off his humanity? Its all I want to know and I am curious about.

Mostly, everything was perfect in this episode. No SE interaction. (win-win) No Stefan crybaby drama (cheers) Actual interesting storyline. Katherine Pierce - Drunk and acting all motherly. (Have I ever mentioned how much I love Kat's one line and she is just AWESOME!) Elena defending Damon. (Saving her hubby and Actually killing someone coz he was gonna kill Damon)
