I know this post will make people go mad, but I am still a fan of kumud. As much as I was before. Sacrificing people you love for someone else isn't wrong, but the question that arises here is why not sacrifice kusum? Her family reputation is at stake, she is ELDER daughter of the family, but with saras, she leaves everything. Saras is her strength and weakness, she vents out her anger,her pain,everything with saras. She cant be strong in front of him. That is what love is.
Next question what kind of love it is which makes you sacrifice him? Sacrificing kumud will be difficult for saras, but asking him to do so must have been close to death for kumud. But still she chose to do it. Not coz she would be mahan, but she is ahuman being who values every bond as much as lover bond. She could have ran away with him, but unfortunately saraswatichandra is being shown in a bit older backdrop and not completely mordern. We all know how worst kusum is, butfor kumud she is her sister. Kumud knows saras cares for kusum, since the show is shot in that generation when every marriage is termed as a sacrifice, its obvious for kumud to think saras will accept and love kusum
