It was really sad to see that no one other than MA could figure out that Jalal might have something going inside his head. Everyone seems to have believed what Jalal wanted them to believe. I am most disappointed in Ruqu and may be Jalal is also or may be he knows Ruqu's limitations. May be Jalal did not expect her to understand either. The interesting thing today was that Ruqu did not direct all her anger against Jalal. Does it mean that she has understood Jalal's helplessness as a Shenshah? The reason I ask this question is because so far Ruqu does not seem to understand that Jalal is in pain too. He does not want this divorce as much as her. Unlike Ruqu Jalal feels this feeling does not need to be displayed loudly but instead understood by the person. Ruqu has her own selfish reason to hang on to this relationship, but for Jalal the reasons are all because he genuinely cares about Ruqu the lady. She does not seem to whole a grudge against Jalal, so I am hoping she feels that Jalal is doing this only because this is the right thing for a king to do. The letter to Humayun is an indication of how desperate Ruqu is, she wants the assurance that there is atleast one person in the world who can stop Jalal. She wishes that the person who arranged for her wedding, was there to overrule Jalal.
I have never seen Salima go emotional before, no matter what the situation she manages to stay calm. Even when Jalal finds out that MA is the culprit during MC, she stayed calm but we could see the pain she felt for Jalal. Why was she so emotional today? Is it because as a woman she could feel Ruqu's pain or maybe everyone in the palace is surprised that this special and unique relationship is coming to an end. It was good to see the entire Jodha fan club show equal concern and support for Ruqu. Hamida declaring Ruqu as her daughter and convincing her that she will not let the divorce happen was commendable. It's the second time (first was when she was helping Ruqu be the one to receive the first ray of sun, so that she could go to Ajmer sharif with Jalal) I see Hamida show support for her. Ruqu on her part has not really done anything to receive support from anyone, as she feels that is not needed. The title that she has from Jalal should take care of everything, no wonder she is traumatized as that seems to be slipping away.
I was proud of Jodha for not trying to prove to Ruqu that she is not guilty. I enjoyed her angry response to Ruqu, the one filled with puffed up anger in her chest. I thought this 'puffed up roop' was ONLY for Jalal, was so happy to be proven wrong. She even clarifies that why she was quiet in the past, hope Ruqu understood that Jodha is not someone who would bend unless she really has the reason to bend. In one of my post where I created a list of advices for JaJo, one of them was for Jalal to keep praising Amer and its people. I was proud today that I noted it down. The moment Ruqu targets Raajvanshi clan, Jo loses it. She gives back a short and solid bhashan to Ruqu who continues to not use her brain. The long bhashans are ONLY for Jalal. I think if even Jalal finds out that his lady is giving this proprietary bhashn to someone else, he would be very insecured. Ruqu said something that will let Jodha may be eventually not hold any restraints in loving Jalal. Today, Ruqu's words made Jodha understand that she cares more about the title than Jalal. In future Jodha will realize even more about Jalal's loneliness and when he is in pain she won't be able to stop herself from being the support system.
Now coming back to Jalal's situation, as to how nobody understands what's going on in his head. Everyone in Agra has known Jalal for many years. It's hard to believe that no one understands him. Could anyone in the past manipulate and take away anything precious from him? Yet, Jodha who is so new to Agra understands him perfectly. In the RG fort issue, Jodha was the only one who had doubts about Jalal giving away the fort so easily. He was acting very normal outside, but had a whole DHANSOO plan going on to win the fort back. As I mentioned in my last post - Jalal could not let go of a fort dear to him, would he let his most precious relationship taken away? Ofcourse not! This incident where Adham is asking Jalal to break his relationship and the one where samdhi asked for fort are exactly the same. Jalal's plan to teach the culprit a lesson is also same. No wonder even though it feels like victory, MA is unable to enjoy it.
Jalal knows that the implementation of the law is going to create an uproar. He is waiting for that uproar to come as a complain to Shenshah. He knows thousands of people and maulvis will request that this law be passed only for future marriages. He will act all innocent and will finally agree to their demands that the law is only for future marriages. This is when MA's good for nothing son will speak up about his cheap desire. He will say that his marriage was also fixed in the past and hence law should not be applied on it. That's when the trump card Jalal is holding on so dearly and stealthily will come out. Jalal will tell Cheapo that this could have happened had he not bribed the parents. I want extra ZOOM focus of MA when this comes out camera man! Will anyone realize the depth of the master plan or even understand why Jalal went to such lengths? As a king he could have punished Cheapo and nobody would have questioned him. This is what everyone expected him to do. Infact he had the trump card to do it also. Then why such a twisted plan? Its because Jalal cares about his people deeply. He sees the pain of young girls and wants to ensure that their future remains bright. He wants to send out a strong message that he cares about this law and is holding himself also under it. If it were upto me, I would have given him the title 'Akbar' right now. I think it will only be Jodha who will understand Jalal's plan after a closure to this track. She will understand that he knew all along that he wouldn't have to divorce Ruqu.
Precap: Ruqu has lost it completely and Jodha does not know what to do with this senseless person. Just show pity and ignore her I guess..
