OK,before anyone disagrees let me just point out he LOVES HER as a FRIEND,BUT only as a FRIEND,jalal has still not come out of that BEST-FRIEND wala phase,he is still stuck there only...ruku has moved forward bcoz no one told her that she dosnet have a heart ,but jalal was constantly preached abt not having a heart bcoz that only makes u weak,so he can give his life for ruku ,even his bestfriend status to her,bcoz ruku also told him he dosent have a heart,but JODHA is the one who told him he is the owner of smthing which is valued above all,HE DOES HAVE A HEART AFTERALL..so how can he not fall for JODHA,and how can he fall for ruku when she herself dosent believe he has love to give.

Anchal Jodha is Jallu's soulmate...Ruqu is his best friend..Jalal's constant claims on his friendship with Ruqu screaming out the truth...this show is trying to say love happens only once and for Jalal it is Jodha...Jalal spent 11 years with Ruqu..still he doesnt love her which is sad...whereas Ruqu, I doubt she loves him..coz she values his position, power more than him...issi liye jab Jodha ne poocha uske paas koi jawab nahi tha..

Jalal is in love with Jodha only and I'm guessing Ruqu will accept it later😊

Aanchal, very good topic.

And what you said about the heart is so true.

Why does Jalal does not love Ruku in a romantic and passionate way?

They are friends and grew up together. He knows her very well. So there is no mystery to be solved, there is no challenge. Jodha is both a mystery and a challenge.

Ruku does not challenge him to grow as a person, she takes him for granted, always expects something in return. Both are too much alike, unlike Jodha.

He is astute enough to realize that for her, he is first and foremost a shehenshaw who can give the status she wants. She will never even look at him as a man.

I have huge confusion abt ruqlal's relationship! I don't get whats actually jalal feeling for her..hence, i stopped to think on this issue..n abt jo-ja's relation,dhekti hu kitnae strong n lively dhekhatai hai cvs!

Even I have the same question...if Ruq is ur best friend, ur Begum-e-Khaas, she understands u the most then what's the need of Jodha?...why don't u love her Jalal...very strange...lets see how CVs will justify the love story of Jodha Akbar after showing so deep bonding between RuqLal...isse achchhi toh movie hi thi usme Ruq ko involve hi nahi kiya gaya...

I have a feeling somewhere the fact that they grew up with each other has to do with it...They used to play with each other and sometimes the relationship never materializes into something bigger/better.And here is a case where it did not materialize beyond deep friendship.

He cares very deeply for her and does not know a life with her being around...likes to have her around because he is so used to. But since at the start there was no passion, somewhere he never saw her in

that manner..

Whereas with Jodha he was a man full of passion when his lay his eyes on her.

as twisted as it sounds it is more like sibling love,if anyone attacks ruku he wont let them get away..like"I HAVE THE RIGHT TO FIGHT WITH MY SIBLING,ANYONE ELSE DOES THIS AND THEY ARE TOAST",also ruku does love him but i am not sure why she dosent have an answer when asked abt this...

ruku may not be a challenge but a friendship that goes on for so long will def have an impact on u,he has deep feelings for her,i feel he never loved her,has always been her best friend but love never came in the equation...

with jodha ,first he got attracted,then he hated her,he is obsessed with her,all these are strong feelings...she realises he has a heart,and he likes this,she is someone who stands upto him even when he is not her friend,and yes that attracts him more to her...she is his equal in all senses...

I dont think Ruqu understands Jalal the most...nope ! inn kuch mahino mein Jodha understood him the best...BB fiasco is the proof ! Jalal shared his pain, his tears with Jodha...and Jodha too cried...where was Ruqu then ? she didnt even go to comfort him !😡

Jalal is a loner...no one understands him...and he is a man with shell which is getting off gradually with the help of Jodha😳

IIN THE SERIAL STORY THEY SHOW JODHA AND JALAL AS SOULMATES BUT IN REALITY IN THE HISTORY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER JODHA WAS HIS TRUE LOVE OR RUQQAIYA WAS HIS TRUE LOVE AND IF RUQQAIYA WAS HIS BESTFRIEND THEN SHE WOULD UNDERSTAND HIM THE MOST AND DEFINITELY LOVE STARTS FROM FRIENDSHIP SO IN REALITY I FEEL RUQQAIYA WAS MORE CLOSE TO AKBAR THAN JODHA
