Expected tacky TRP drama...

As soon as shallow Panna Ben threw the plate in the air, I was like 'great it's going to be some tacky TRP drama'. But I actually ended up enjoying it completely! It was nail-biting, pretty well executed and brilliantly enacted. No doubt it is all for TRPs but it's not necessarily always a bad thing because you need high points.

What I really liked:

-Kumud's monologue to Panna Ben. Very subtly performed by Jenny! The words touched the heart and she said exactly what I was thinking. Why did PB have to bring the baraat and then insult them like this? How pathetic is that.
- Slap on Danny's face. No I didn't like seeing Danny get slapped but I loved Saras' reaction to it as a brother. Great job done by GR!
- The outdoor scene- nice direction and camera work! Very dramatic with Khoti vaat's bitter words. It is a bit ridiculously bizarre how the Vyas family have spelt doom for the Desais.
- Last Saras and Kumud scene. Fantastically performed by our leads! I just wonder what Saras and Kumud are made of. They aren't meant to be happy. Their relationship is completely unseen and unheard of. I am angry with Kumud but somewhere in my heart I do sympathise with her helplessness.
- Precap: More drama! Jen's acting seems brilliant. Those eyes had a lot of pain.

well such tacky things give me heart attack but when strong educated girl like kumud r shown to fall for such drama ...i hate it...thats why i always say kumud is a tvt doll

I know what you mean. As soon as the shaadi drama started I was like hell to the no! But I couldn't get myself to change it... no idea why. The spoilers about either Danny or Saras marrying Kusum I think had me sticking to it... I was sooo pissed off when Kumud told Saras to marry Kusum. My reaction was the same as Saras - angry and disgusted. It was such an insult to their love.
