I believe that Sharon is more selfish than Swayum. Love makes people selfish, not selfless. And Sharon here is shown as quite a go-getter. So when Swayum imploringly yet unwilling spoke to her about trying to see 'the bigger picture', I agreed with him. I don't know whether to call it character development or uncharacteristic softness but Sharon seemed to buy his words right away. So much so that she decided to make amends there and then. I see hope because I think she's going to tell everyone sooner than I had thought that they were in fact a couple and that she had impulsively lied. Also, I see hope because I stand corrected - once in love the way Swayum is, there's no way out. He misses her. The fact that he thinks he cannot change her but wishes he could was questionable, though. For, mostly he loves her for exactly who she is. Anyway, complications there! For all we know, Sharon is going to 'think about others' now and shake hands with Kria. But basically, she's going to try and become a better person for Swayum. I like that, don't you? ( :
Might I add, 'Kitni Baatien Yaad Aati Hain' was a very pretty sequence. The contrast in Swayum and Sharon's expressions while remembering each other was symbolic of their situations right now. Personally, when I watched that bit I inferred the following. Swayum's got bits and parts of his self damaged beyond repair. He isn't going to be happy for a long time. Sharon on the other hand is hopeful like she's never been in the past. Those memories make her happy, unlike Swayum who just doesn't know how to react anymore.
PS The Kria issue? If Kria has told Swayum the real reason behind her leaving, then I don't think he did anything wrong in hiding it. If she hasn't, then keeping it from Sharon and Rey could viably be called an error.
PPS Vrushika Mehta was good today! I think I could see where she was coming from as she remembered her times with Swayum today. That bit? She nailed. đ
Epiphany.
