During his recent trip to the city, TV actor Karan Patel spoke about the Delhi traffic, and the excitement that comes with attending weddings here. "I have a lot of friends here, so I keep coming to Delhi. But the most excitingpart is attending a Dilli ki shaadi. It's loud, it's larger than life, and the celebrations are on a different level altogether," Karan said.
He also loved the weather. "I love the Delhi winter - something we never get in Mumbai. I don't indulge myself too much now, but there was a time when I used to come to Delhi only for the food - the kebabs and paranthas being my favourite!" he said.
But what caught us by surprise was Karan saying that he found Delhi's traffic disciplined. "Compared to Mumbai, people have a very good traffic sense here. I didn't know there were separate lanes for cycles and cars and buses. In Mumbai, even if there were separate lanes, people will never pay any heed," he said.
