Remember long time back when Kumud relaxed an agitated Saras by saying 'Jahaan pyar hota hai waha jalan nahin hoti'. That's a beautiful but subjective thought of course.
Suddenly she lashes out at him and ends up blaming him. JUST IF he didn't say no...they would have been married, there would have been no way Kusum would have fallen for him. It seems bitter but these causal events keep coming back to bite her.
But so much has happened since. Kumud has been beaten, battered physically and mentally. I often read people saying she's not our old Kumud. Well of course she isn't! The initial Kumud was always high on confidence, sometimes came across as arrogant but she had a lot of self-belief. But how can we expect her to be the same now? Circumstances change people. Her self-esteem has lowered which is why Kusum's (pathetic) confession of loving Saras shook her. Thanks to her lovely sister, she had to face her vulnerabilities again.
Saras' intentions were noble. If Kumud had not faced the bitter truth, she wouldn't have even posed the question and if she did then she would have been quite proud of Saras. It's all about the timing. Saras hit a raw nerve. For the first time she felt that fear of losing him to someone else. Her eyes said it all :( She doesn't have that confidence in herself anymore. She wanted him to say KUMUD because at that point she needed to hear that.

Now tomorrow Kusum will make her feel even worse with cheap emotional blackmailing. Saras saw me first...voila...Kumud will remember Saras' words today. What a sister Kusum is đđđ Making Kumud like utter crap, making her feel like she deserves a monster like Pramad.
