I just started to watch Pavitra Rishta again, I had left off when Naren's mom had mentioned to his dad that Ankita is the one that can cure Naren...so is the sole purpose of this marriage Naren's cure? 😕

Yes, that is the only reason why Rushali wants to have Ankita in Naren's life .Naren gets very violent fits and only calms down when he sees Ankita ( he calls her Ahana ) His condition was getting worse but since he met Ankita , he is in a better state so his mother wants Ankita to be his wife and take care of him .

The only reason why Ankita is marrying him is because she wants financial stability for her siblings ..She can never provide them the kind of education and living that Rushali is giving them right now .Otherwise I don't think Ankita is happy at all to be marrying Naren .
