Hey there KSians!!
I have today's lyrics for you as well as a little jig on Pooch and Jai's "love". Please feel free to pen down your own comments, would love to read them!😉
Today's Lyrics:
Chup chaap dekhoon tumhe raat din… aur chup chup ke aahein bharoon…
Jab saamne aati ho tum mere… hont khulte nahin kya karoon.
Kaise batoon ke pehli hi nazar mein hi dil ye tera hogaya…
Yoon cheel jaisi gehri aankhon mein jaake na jaane kahan kho gaya.
Dil ki sunno… Dil ki kaho…
Sab kuch mera… Tum hi toh ho…
Bepanah pyar hai, aja…Tera intezaar hai, aja…
Translation:
Secretly I admire you day and night… and secretly I desire…
Whenever you come before me… these lips do not open what can I do.
How shall I tell you that in the first glance this heart had become yours…
Lost it became in the depth of your beautiful eyes.
Listen to your heart… Speak your heart…
You are… my everything…
An endless stream of love flows, come…
These eyes await only you, come…
Pushkar:
Kuch rishtey dil se jude hote hain… Aur wohe kehte hain na… Ke door ho kar bhi dil se judhe nahin hote. Sivaye dard ke kuch bhin nahin dete… Phir bhi hum unke saath jeete hain.
Translation (Pushkar):
Some relationships are from the heart… And they say na… That despite being apart, they cannot be torn apart. They [such relationships] give nothing but pain… Yet still we live with them.
Translation (Jai):
Bani tum mujhse chahe jitni bhi naraaz ho, lekin main jaanta hoon is naraazgi mein bhi pyar hai. Daro mat, mujhe kuch nahin hoga. Kyun ki joh loge ek doosre ke liye banne hote hain na, unhe koi judaa nahin kar sakta.
Translation:
Bani you can be as upset with me as ever, but I know that even behind your disappointment, lies a love. Don't be afraid, nothing will happen to me. Because those two who are meant to be together, can never be torn apart.
Point to ponder regarding Pooch and Jai:
Hey guys, while watching the video, I really got caught up on Pooch today. I don't know why, but I really felt for him. And his words left some sort of resonance. Looking at Jai's assurance in the end, I couldn't help but think of the state of these two men in their respective situations. On the one side is Pushkar who dropped everything in the name of love (a career that was on the skies, a father-like figure who loved him like his own, a friend who supported him in all endeavours, a family whom he had shared every aspect of life up until this point, etc.), and on the other side is Jai who sacrificed his everything for it (taking degradation and insults of those whom he had loved more than life itself, seeing hatred spur from the eyes that had claimed nothing but love for him, seeing his own mother-like figure perform his shraad, etc.). Pushkar had everything, and lost it in a moment, whereas Jai had nothing and became the world's wealthiest man within a moment. Referring to Pushkar's philosophical words, I gather that some relationships indeed, are made from the heart, but like in his case, they give nothing but sorrow. He loved Pia more than anything, and perhaps now hates her more than anything. But hatred for her seems to kneel before the feeling of disgust he nurtures for himself, knowing the fact that despite all, he still has deep rooted feelings for she who betrayed him in the most painful way. On the other hand, Jai and Bani's relationship has faced endless hurdles and he had perhaps even fell in her eyes at one point, but despite that, they too, like Pushkar and Pia, are still held together. The difference being though, is that Pushkar carries a burden of loneliness even though his claimed "love" resides with him. The foundations of Jn'B's love are rooted deep within both of them, whereas the love that Pia and Pushkar shared was weighed with the amount of material wealth he could offer her. Its strange the kind of crossroads can sometimes leave you at. In the case of Pushkar, perhaps the fellow doesn't even know which side to take as both are equally blurred... and equally painful. Enter Preeti (the doc), well try as she may, but Pushkar's "love" seems quite firm... Lets see what time holds.
Any views?
Cheers,
