I will give u one personal example.

Recently 10 days back we lost our dog, he was part of family. He came before my daughter's birth so definitely he was very much admired and loved. My daughter is of Kamya's daughter's age and the time my dog died she was at home and it was 10 pm. So we left her with our neighbors and did all the arrangements.

Now, come to ur point. me n my husband cried a lot and miss him and feel terrible. But we can't show our pain and tears to our daughter coz we dont want her to feel bad. She comes from school and ask about yaago but i just stay mum coz neither i want to give a false hope nor i want to tell teh harsh reality.

Same is with kamya, she can't cry in front of her daughter. believe me when i cry my daughter start crying and tell me no mumma plz dont cry. i just tell my daughter i have eye problem but it is difficult for us to show our sorrow to her.
