I think we should also highlight other women in mahabharat like dusshala the only sister of kauravas and pandavas. then there was uttara wife of abhimanyu, subhadra, then there was queen sudeshna who lost her son and husband both in the war.. then karna's wives also hidimba who lost her only son in the war...

So many women suffered in this war of political powers ..

brilliant idea lovesunshine please do post information on other women of mahabharat and yes they also played a very important role in the epic.

But can we add information about Radha ji as well she also sacrificed her life for Krishnji some say Radha ji did marry someone else but others say that she did not. Actually, there is a very little information about her life aftr Krishnji left Mathura.

Some months back I went to Vrindavan where I saw Nidhi Van where even today Rasleela takes place each night. There some people say she did marry but she never had any chidlren with her husband. One day I plan to go to Barsana her birth place. 😊 Hope Radha ji jaldi mujhe bulalen apne darshan karne hetu 😆😆

yes ofcourse radahaji is eternal ...

btw there are also debates about whether radahji was elder to shri krishna..some say she was, some say she was not..

i have heard that there is more information about dusshala in janemejaya mahabahart version but i dont have the book..

surprising very few is written about the story after the war..

i have read abt it in chitra divakaruni's - the palace of illusions but it is a fiction book so i cant put it forth as factual information.

Yes she was elder to him by two years.

You know even balram also took promise from vishnu ji that when he became ram sheshnag became his younger brother but before vishnu ji took birth as shri krishn he promised balram that in this life sheshnag can be his elder brother. I cant recall where I have read this story .

Dushala ke bare me mene bas yahi India Forums me pada hai. But not sure if this story is true or not when Arjun killed her husband.

itni kahaniyan hen ki pata nahi kis par wishwas karo 😕

yes sometimes I wish ved vyas ji just appears before this world and show us the real Mahabharata as it happened (just like in the movie OMG Oh My God shri krishna shows paresh rawal what happened in flashback)..

All these versions of these different stories and its creators will just shut up then..😉
