Seems like the couple-dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 (Frames Productions) on Star Plus is proving to be a painful experience for our TV stars.
After Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi badly hurt themselves recently, it was now turn of the TV heartthrob Gurmeet Choudhary to go through a similar experience.
Yes, the sexy and well built actor badly injured himself while doing a stunt for this weekend's episode. Informed our khabru from the sets, "It so happened that Gurmeet had to break a few bricks as an impromptu act on the stage. Unfortunately somewhere, something went wrong and the man was left bleeding profusely."
Seeing a lot of blood oozing out of Gurmeet's hand, the entire crew panicked and his poor wife Debina (Bonnerjee) was left shocked and was almost in tears seeing her better half in so much pain.
When we called the actor, he informed, "I did have an accident while performing the stunt but am fine now. Bade bade sheheron mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai'(smiles). It was bad yesterday, but thankfully it's healing and I am all good."
"I got a deep cut on my wrist on the veins which led to the profuse bleeding. There are a lot of cuts on my palm and fingers and I hit my bones badly too. The medical team available on the sets helped control the situation in time," he further went on to share.
When we sought to know of Debina's reaction to all this, he quipped, "She did get really scared, but as a responsible husband I kept my calm to help her cool down. As an actor and someone who is always in the war field with actions, I am used to such kind of stuff (laughs)."
"But Debina, my family and even my fans keep telling me that I take too much of risks. But then, these accidents cannot be foreseen. With this I want to inform my fans that I am fine now and want to thank them for their constant support," Gurmeet observed.
Well Gurmeet, you truly are a super hero, but it's always better to play it safe!
