Paanch - Bina Awaaz Ka Band

Hello! Mais here! Mostly found at The Buddy Project forum, hoping to make this place a new stop to visit! 😃

So, Paanch! It had a good start. I liked it how things just jump-started from the start. Roshini's character and her equation with her sister was established quickly. Her character before and after Neha's death, her strong resolve yet the inner void that her sister's untimely, unjustified death left within her...all brilliantly portrayed! I am loving this girl who is playing Roshini! She cries so convincingly! that scene in the hostel room when she is sitting at the window and she breaks down, goosebumps people! Major wale! 👏

Roshini lied to her father and instead of going to Alaska, landed at Regents College Mumbai. This will play a major part later. Specially since Nikhil, her friend, is the suspicious yet caring detective kind. But what I did love the best was that Roshini knows who the Paanch are.

Yudi.
Zara.
Nihal.
Roy.
Gauri.

She just has to find them. First target of hers is Gauri cuz she seems to be the one competing in college elections. I think she will use Gauri as the door to step in their world because Gauri seems like the complete, 'heaven if you please me, hell if you don't' kind of a person. And precap shows her coming face to face with Gauri as well!

So yeah, a good start is a job half done! Let's see what's in store for us!

Okay...first things first.

Who the EFF is this girl????

No really! She was so bloody good, even though I think she's a first timer :0 I loved her acting! Natural, subtle & so very real. The whole "Roshni in Revenge Mode" could have come off as highly OTT, but she did it perfectly! And she's pretty in a very natural & real way. I somehow instantly connected to her And yes...the hostel window scene was her best! It was so very real yaar :O Like you know how we try to stop our tears when we don't want to cry, but they fall anyway. And in that moment...Roshni felt the weight of everything which was happening. Amazing <3

In regards to the episode, highly impressed! The pace especially was very satisfying, everything about the past which had to be known - Roshni & Neha's relationship, Neha's ragging, her suicide, the 'Paanch' was wrapped up well in the first epi itself, with great cinematography, & the actual revenge track starts from the second epi itself! Its a really good issue that has been chosen for the show, because sadly...such things do happen.

So...Roshni already knows the Paanch! Vaise Maisy...unko naam kahan bataye the? :S Anyways...first target it seems WILL be Gauri. And yes...she defo made an impact. I was surprised that she pulled off the punk rocker chic look so well. When I saw it in the precap, it seemed to be a disaster, but actual epi main when I saw it carefully...well, it just adds another shade to her dark allure. She looks evil ;)

I liked Nikhil. He was cute. Maybe a future accomplice? And CC...I think I got my eye on Nihal too ;)

First impression is always important, no matter what the show becomes later. For me...Paanch made a great one :D You know what they say, "If you take revenge, dig two graves" (Not the exact quote but something along those lines anyway :p) So yeah...definitely intrigued & looking forward to the show!

the show has started off really well. love the way how she changed her mind and decides to face the people responsible for her sisters death.

I am liking Roshini's character. She wasn't the typical fattu nor the out n out bold one like Neha. She was just a chilled, normal person who would've remained this way had the accident not happened. There's still struggle within her. She has a long way to go. Abhi she is fueled by revenge...the logic of things is bound to kick in later.

Me too hoping ke this is a worth watch kind of a show and doesn't go all typical. the screenplay seems tight and the presentation is very well done! Starting epis are too soon to judge though so yeah...

On to the episode, well, I wasn't disappointed.

On the contrary, it lived up damn well up to my expectations.

I was glued to my screen ( not to mention I actually gobbled up three bowls of popcorn as I watched it !!😆)

So yeah, as of now, I'm interested.

Hopefully it'll be as good in future as it today.
