Television actress Prachi Desai made her small screen debut with the serial Kasambh Se at 17. She worked for 20 hours a day for almost 25 days a month and despite being a novice understands the professional insecurities and pressures involved.
"When I made my debut initially, I didn't know what was in store for me. I do feel stressed and tired but there is no choice. It is both physical and mental tiredness that one goes through. But then at the end of the day it's all worth it because I enjoy my work and it brings name, fame and money." Prachi admits to undergoing moments of insecurity conceding that her profession is treacherous.
But the youngster is far too hooked to realise the serious repercussions that may affect her in her later years.
