As much as I hated today's episode, I believe that it is good start of the final closure (If the CVs don't mess up as always!)
Everyone in the family was disappointed with Kumud! And she started feeling low! This was Pramad's plan all along; to make her feel sorry for bringing disgrace to the family so that when he refuses to divorce her she would agree to go with him for her family's sake, leaving Saras shattered!
Kalika ignited the fire in Danny's heart by letting him know that Kusum loves Saras and not him! Now Danny will try every way possible to get his love! Which will hopefully keep Kusum away from Saras!
Pramad wouldn't divorce Kumud till he dies and she will become a widow! The not-so-great society will discourage her to move on and live her life freely. She will start suffocating and that's when Saras will break all the nonsense rules of the society and marry Kumud to lead a happy life with her...
Hopefully the story would progress in this manner given the situations that are about to rise.. So keep the fingers crossed!
