Maan was reaching KM and as he was approaching near his ancestral Mansion he was getting tensed.
Geet had hurt him but he always knew she was innocent but his family? They didn't trust him, Why? Is he not worth even little bit of trust that they played game behind his back, his family planned against him, Why did they not mention their concern to him? He had always thought they may hurt Geet but when it came true and the fact that they didn't trust him to even discuss things with him, it hurted. They hid and planned from him, their own son, as if he was not theirs.
What did they think, he will rebel or run away with Geet, did they think so low of him. All these thoughts were hurting him deeply.
Maan entered KM and as if whole family was waiting for him
"So you are coming home after spending a complete whole day and night with that girl" his father taunted and scolded.
Maan closed his eyes and tightened his fists to get control of pain and anger. After gathering some control on himself, Maan took deep breath "Dad, I have my flight at 9 pm. I need to pack soon. We can talk later"
His mother came forward and completely blinded by the situation placed a hard slap on Maan's face.
"you are so blinded by that girl that you have forgot how to talk with your father."
Maan looked shocked at his Mom, slight tears forming in his eyes not due to slap but the fact that even his mother did not trust him "Maa aapko kaise apne bte pe bharosa nahi" His mother felt pain seeing pain in Maan's eyes but then not bend down emotionally in love of son, she looked away.
Maan was on his way to upstairs towards his room when
"Maan we need to talk, now" his dad ordered. Maan stopped and came down.
"Where were you last night" "With Geet" he didn't feel like giving explaination, what's the use when they didn't trust him already.
"This is how you answered my trust on you"
"Your trust on me Dad? You never trusted me in first place. Ek baar puchne tak kee jaroorat nahi samjhi aap logon ne mujhse."
"Jo dekha humne" Maan gave sarcastic smile with pain in it "Chup ker, by spying on me, your own son"
Maan paused for a while "Dad, what should I say? You thought so low of me, that I will rebel and run away with Geet or something like that."
"Maan don't twist the topic" came strongly from Dadima "Dadima, I am speaking straight, You all hid and acted behind my back."
"Tell us straight, what is your relation with Geet" "way beyond you people definitation of relation but to cut short, I deeply love her."
"MAAN" came strongly from Maan's mom "How dare you speak this infront of your elders and what are you wanting us to trust you with. Chup chup ker use milte ho, smay bitate ho uske saath aur baanki kya hai"
Now all youngsters were signaled to move away. No one should get this bad effect.
"Mom, I just love her in my heart we don't share that kind of relation, how can I? its your values "
"No its not my values,did you say us anything? and love, you love that girl. How are we even standing and listening to this"
Maan knew things will get heated and now the talk was going in direction of insulting Geet.
He wanted to let them know her importance "How could I have said anything here. I need her yes first to declare it to all.For me, her wsih comes above mine, I have to know her will before declaring anything to all."
Maan's chachu came forward "So now that maid will say yes or no to you for your proposal"
"I will get late for flight, I should leave." Maan said closing his fists and controlling his anger.
"Go, and be back after placing you mind in correct place" his dad warned.
Maan went few steps up but then stopped and said loudly "Whatever happened with Geet was completely wrong. I will not tolerate this again. If it's my fault punish me straight." And he left. This has not ended here he knew.
Maan was on his way to NY "Why have they so many problems with Geet. Why could they not accept her? And Geet, she is not helping either."
As soon as Maan reached NY and settled in the hotel, he wanted to feel light. 16 hours of journey have not helped in any ways.
He dialed Geet's number and Geet picked it at just first ring
Maan had smile just hearing her sweet hello
"I thought you were not talking to me, surprised you picked at first ring" he teased her.
"Jaiyee, baat nahi kertee main aapse" "Geetu Geetu,don't disconnect" Maan said hurridly before she disconnect in anger.
"hmm" she said, still showing her anger but how could she disconnect. Maan was feeling so calm after all this turmoil. Few seconds with her can wash away his any pressure.
Then Maan gave her his all instructions "you are not going anywhere alone, till I come back. I have body guard set for you, either they will be with you or any of my friends. And get this very clear samjhi tum" he was in complete guardian mode.
"you don't trust me" she complained "No, not at all when it's question of your security."
"Mujhe kya hona hai Chote Thakur." Then she complained as how Meera and Pari Di were not letteing her do any work at home. Maan smiled, he knew Meera and Pari will pamper her.
"Tum ho hee itnee pyaree" he thought
Actually Geet was so sweet, innocent and even her intelligence, everything had made Meera and Pari fall for her like sisters. She was like younger sister to them and on top of it she was Maan's choice for life. Yash and Rohan were too equally caring for her. She has won their heart in sisterly way. Well they canont imagine to think otherwise else Maan will butcher them by his bare hand.
Sam was not bad with Geet and personally she has no disliking for Geet but she personally did not find Geet match for Maan. For her, Maan was just caught up with case of infatuation and being with Geet has made him fall for her.
Geet had started with her studies as she has no other option, no one is letting her work, they are pampering her like anything and she is not allowed to go anywhere alone till Maan comes.
Sam came from the office directly that day "Hey Sam, today directly here" asked Meera
"Coffee dear, having bad headache" "Ok darling" "waise Meera, is Geet there, I need to talk to her" "hmm ander hain apne kitaboon ke saath."
Sam went to Geet "How are you Geet, hows study going" "I am fine Sam di, how are you."
"Fine. Geet I want to talk something to you. This is personally my view. Maan won't listen so I wanted you to understand" "Ji Boliye na"
"Geet, tell me genuinely, do you think, your and Maan's Match is suitable"
Geet felt so relieved "Sam di, main kya bolun. Its only you here who can understand my POV. I can't even imagine taking that place, Chote Thakur is way high up in all ways. Who to kisi rajkumari ke saath he acche lagenge. With me, people are just going to make talks about him"
"Geet, you are correct and now its only you who can make him understand. Being his friend, I cant stop myself to take a step to make him aware of his wrong descision but he will not listen to me."
"You are good , very Good but you are not for maan"
"but how can I explain him. See how he found out that I have feelings for him. But its wrong. I am doing all wrong, I want to fix it. If I do such sin, what will I answer to my Babaji"
Sam smiled at Geet's innocent talk. She diefinitly is one of her own kind, Sam thought but still not for Maan.
"When he comes, go to his office. In different scenario he may see things in different way"

In KM:
Kamini was sitting upset in her room. Pained eyes of her son was not leaving her sight. He was pained his mother did not trust him but what could she have done. Everything that is shown is against him but he was hurt.
His both Chachis were trying to calm her.
"Kamini ji" came strong voice of Maan's dad and both Mohini and Padma left the room.
"You are Bade Thakurain, This doesn't suit you. Your son doesn't care of your pain, he is just worried for that girl so stop these tears as this will make you weak and one day that girl will be in the Mansion sitting at your level."
"I have hurt him, allow me to talk to him once." He angrily left the room showing clearly his answer.
It was then Kamini's phone that rang "Maan"
"Mom" "so you have grown so big, your mother slaps you and you stop talking, its complete four days you have gone"
"Mom, you can slap me, say anything to me. Aapse naraz hoker kahan jaoonga. Maa, there is just a small request"
"hmmm bol" "just like you did this time, if you feel I am wrong, question me, punish me I will take everything but don't hurt her mom. Uskee koi galtee nahi hai. I can take any big punishment for myself, but I can't bear her tinies pain."
"Maan?" "kya karoon maa, I am helpless. It will only hit back your son, just remember that."
After that Kamini was sitting just still, not knowing what to do.
