Two things:
- Kapil or Colors' argument is baseless. Guthi is not their exclusive intellectual property. Sunil Grover did this act much before on Comedy Circus. It's not like they created it and can ban Sunil from doing this act anywhere else.
- Second I think Sunil's new show on Star Plus might be a rumour. The moment any actor exits a show from a channel media makes news that he/she has been offered a movie or is going to do another show on a rival channel. Media had reported that Pratyusha Bannerjee would be doing a younger and modern role in a show on Star Plus when she left BV. But that never happened even though Pratyusha did appear at SP events and was a guest on Masterchef India also. So who knows if Sunil Grover's show will come on SP or not? Even if Sunil confirms it himself still we can't be sure till his new show actually goes on air.
BTW on a different note I think it's commendable on part of TMKOC team that they're all together even after so long and no ego hassles. Earlier teams of Great Indian Comedy Show, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Khichdi also used to stick together like one huge family. Togetherness of all comedians was great on Comedy Circus also till last year. I wish everyone stuck together instead of parting ways.
