Hey Didi,

UPDATES from doctor.

MADHU DI vital signs are fine . Just the blood pressure has to be normal. Small tube (stent) in her veins attached to a machine are making her uneasy. God she is crazy wants to run for bathroom. Doctor said mom you need to rest. Rest has to wait for midday biopsy results.

Even if she has to go for a transplant she has to wait two to three months as she (the doctor?) needs to find somebody to replace her liver with a healthy liver from a deceased donor or with part of a liver from a living donor. Cirrhosis is the most common reason for a liver transplant. Doctor said let's work up with meds first.

Thank god... My mom says after reading this, if she get living donor, she will be fine soon... at present via medicines is good one...With our prayers and medicines she will recover soon...

Thanks for letting us know about madhu. I pray that she recovers with the help of medications and will not have to worry about a liver transplant. My best wishes to her and her family.

Sure...

Madhu, is one person in this forum with whom I attached to in personal level. We both being in same age group and facing kids issues brought us more close to each other. I always shared my thoughts with her and she was one who understand my feelings and always gave me spirit to deal with things. She did mention me about gall bladder stone and I gave moral support and some information I gathered from my hubby.Then she suddenly developed cirrhosis of lever . I am very sad , missing her lot in forum.

yes i also knew about stones only and suddenly i recieved PM about cirrhosis and abdominal bleeding...it was quite shocking ...i wish she recovers on meds and do not have to undergo transplant...
