The opening dream sequence was heart racing. His desperation, her fragility, her distress, his chivalry and lastly his love for her came through beautifully.

Nine long years, he was married (like many in our country do) to a sweet woman whom he cared about, adored but did not love with the kind of desperation he did Khushi. yes, I can understand why he would blame himself for his wife's death.

"Shubi" is super cute...those little hands are her father's strength and he lives for her.

I'm glad he is Ex. Lt. Col. Raizada coz as the army officer his chances of being with the woman who is from the other side of the border are next to nil. But would it simple even for an ex-officer...I don't know.

I want them together Anu...he cannot forget her after nine years. What else could it be but love. In his place I would have gone searching for her. 😉

Edited: I had no idea you were going to write more but Res I did and boy am I glad. So here comes the comment:

You decided to write more!!! Ah I am so happy, Anu (you gave me permission ;))

Now to the story - looks like it's been a while since that night and that meeting. But he still remembers - not just his life in the army but even her. So that makes me hope that she is coming back. But so much has changed in 9 years. I wonder where she is now. Did she find her brother and if she did or didn't...what happened...Somehow I can't think of rainbows and sunshine yet - especially when there just seems to be so much loss already in the story.

I am very very intrigued and you have a passenger all geared for the ride, Anu. Take it away. Err...there is more right...TS means Three Shot not...Two Shot...no?

PS: Did I mention I am happy you are writing more?

Anu i just can't tell you how my heart was pounding the whole time in the opening sequence. The entire dream was so vivid and real...i was hoping against hope that like a good old fairy tale the prince would ultimately save his princess...but alas that happens only in fairy tale, reality is very different and brutal at times. Yaha toh sapne mai bhi he could not save her!

Arnav has tried to move along in life but has not been successful in forgetting that chance meeting with his enchantress years have come and gone but he still remembers her like yesterday. I wonder what khushi is doing in life...was she lucky in finding her brother for whom she had risked it all. I am very curious to see how you will culminate this tale...kab milega agala update? Batao?

Such a realistic tale anu and what a fab job you are doing of writing it. 👏

That dream in the beginning was so intense!

Just loved the way you lead the 2nd part. He married & has a child yet is still haunted by thoughts of Khushi.

Raising a child alone is so difficult & it broke my heart when he thought of how much his daughter needs a mother.

Nine years and he still yearns for her, another thing that broke my heart is the fact that he thinks she's dead.
