I found Satya's reactions quite normal and expected.

He cant understand why his daughter must sacrifice her life for Dev after all, she is the apple of his eye and the reason for his life. Their entire life revolves around Kaajal and to accept that she is an adult and wants to take her life in her own hands is very difficult for any father to accept, much less a close knit and possessive family like Kaajals.

But the minute he realises that Dev himself is not wanting to marry kaajal for the same reason, he mellows down against Dev, which shows that he has no malice or anger towards Dev but his frustrations are only towards his daughter who intends to take a step which is a sure step towards her own death, which a father cannot tolerate or bear.

If only some pundit or someone comes and puts them out of this dilemma.

Maybe Dhruv kidnapping Kaajal will break the deadlock, maybe seeing dhruv torture Kaajal or hold her against her will, will make both the men realise how important she and her happiness is to them and maybe Satya might believe that it is better for Kaajal to be happy with Dev than unhappy all alone or unhappy with Dhruv or any other man

I know. When they realise Kaajjal is gone...They are probably going to think the worst!!And hence both satya and dev may mellow down out of fear that she may end up doing something stupid....

So well then the kidnapping will be a blessing in disguise...😳

i think that he should let her get married.....if you think about it Kaajjal would just be a dead body walking around the rest of her life....might as well give her some happiness.......

His reaction was expected. Satya lost his wife and now he doesn't want to lose Kaajjal. Even though Dev is a wonderful person and Kaajjal loves him wholeheartedly, he can't let the marriage happen. It makes sense, Kaajjal is Satya's only child. Whatever happens next will may make him change his mind. I think he'll eventually approve of the marriage. Imagine how sad the wedding will be cos everyone will be expecting Kaajjal to die soon. 😭

Kaajjal and Dev eloping would be interesting. But I don't think Dev would go against Satya's wishes. Its just not Dev to run away with Kaajjal, especially since he's tried his best to stay away from her, despite loving her like anything! Both Satya and Dev will agree to the wedding, eventually.

OMG, its gonna be so sad to see Satya give his daughter's hand to Dev. Its sad to just think about it. 😭 😭

The story can go a lot of different ways now and there are some good predictions here. The one I am against is Dhruv turning evil. That happens in so many serials and Dhruv is Dev's friend so I don't wanna see that happen. He should be the reason Dev and Kaajjal come together. Though it might happen so Dev and Satya agree to the marriage.
