You guys are doing so much hard work. Don't you think it should reach a larger audience?? If your refrences are verifiable and correct nobody can stop you from posting on wiki. Keep some vigilance, edit and re-edit, report vandalism and complain to more experienced users, if you have too. I know there are some users trying to degrade the quality of MUZ article but things have improved these days. The page is a little better cited (please check it out). A lot of stuff needs to be added there. And since some of us have good knowledge on the subject, we should share on wiki. If not share too much, we can atleast correct the wrong stuff.

If you think some info is incorrect on some other page, change it and cite a refrence. If somebody removes it, add it again and question that. If it continues look for more help. But don't give up.

Can u give me the exact year of the exile ? I mean the Alwar exile date...😊

I am not sure of date. In summer holidays this year we went to Alwar to see tigers and to a fort in Alwar called Bala Fort. So there there is Salim Mahal, Salim Pond etc and we were told Jehangir stayed there in exile for 3 years. Babur and Akbar also stayed there sometime. The fort has 6 gates. I just asked if you have a idea. I did not check anywhere about it. Were the people just saying like that?

Hi Dear,
The fort u r talking abt is better known as Bala Qila...and was a property of Kachhwada Rajputs...and PRC was better associated with it...Babur and Humayun stayed there....Not Akbar...😊..Since it was something from Salim's maternal side(Amer Kacchwada Rajputs) and from the name it appears that (most probably)it was something which had a direct link with Bharmal and hence to Heera and Salim consequently....Hope u know that Bharmal's mother's name was Bala Bai...😊 So the serial's DADISA is our Rajmata Bala Bai here...
The Salim Mahal was built for Salim to stay...during his exile...
I asked u abt the date because the guides there must have given u the approximate date ...and if I get the date I can probably tell u the reason of the 😃exile too...!!

to be honest i do not remember much or bother of what they said, in those days i was not bothered about akbar and jehangir or jodha as after this serial 😆 next time i go to historical places i will give more ears to these things. who knows another historical may start and i may get curious.
Indeed this exile thing also my brother reminded me that guides told us that when we visited i had totally ignored it. Its only because of this serial i am interested in akbar-jehangir-jodha.

OK...Since u said that u visited recently(this year summer) so I thought u might be able to recollect the date thing...😃...But , u know what, this fort doesn't have much relevance for Akbar -MUZ story...😆 except that it was from Heera's Maika side...and the Mahal was built for Salim...
So, JA story is hardly connected to it...😉

( But yes, next time u go there...pls do make a note of the approx. date and let me know...I may be able to give u the reason then...😊)

I am not trying to crticise you and you did post good sources. I know the info you post her is trustworthy. 😊

The fact that there is no higher authority at wiki is both boon and bane. People can add whatever nit-bit of info they get but there is nobody to verify it. The users have to that themselves. They can check the sources and alter the content, if need be. The serial puts up a lot of questions and thankfully, they can be answered with research in libraries.

It would really be great if you can edit the MUZ article on wiki. It requires more work. You just have to standby your sources and content. Even the other Mughal family member articles need editing. But that is a different story altogether.

Hi,
I would second you on this...there could have been quite a few possibilities...😊
1st being Amer's destruction...but there could have been worse fate as well...like Mughal soldiers plundering Amer and taking hostage of Royal Ladies...etc etc...
there might have been other things also...
Hence Bharmal , even though got ostracized by his own clan, chose his Subjects' lives and his Family's welfare above self-glory...😊
So I hardly see his decision as a bad one...in fact it was a rather good & intelligent move...😊

Hi...😊
Finally, after 20 days😆, i have an answer to your questions...
But, Beware.!!!!
The question which u have asked..is again controversial...
I will answer it, but can not vouch for the " 100% " authenticity of the facts..

Still, I have dug out upto 5th generation of the last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar..
But, some confusion on 6th generation..😕

Anyways, upto 5th generation, i feel i am correct..
Will, post the answer here, in a day..

Hi..

The following post is somewhat out of the topic, which we normally discuss here.😊
Still, i felt some people here may like it.

So, READ ON..!!!

"The Mughals: Life, Art and Culture," an exhibition in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and the British Library, London.

This exhibition has something VERY SPECIAL for Akbar also..
Read on.. I have mentioned here..

The illustrated manuscripts and paintings on display are part of an extensive collection of the British Library. Many of the works displayed here were commissioned by Mughal emperors and officials of that era.

This rare display is a must-watch for those keen on Mughal-era history.

10:30 AM to 7 PM...
Entry Free

Also on display is what is perhaps the earliest Indian atlas, along with a few portraits and exquisite Mughal miniatures.

The artworks cover a variety of subjects -- scenes of courtly life, including hunting parties; works of literature that convey a message in a single, complex image; and Indian landscapes.

Many of these works have never been published until now.

Some of the rare exhibits on display include 'Notebook of Fragrance',
'Reminiscences of Imperial Delhi,
a route map from Delhi to Qandahar(Kandhar, presently in Afghanistan),
the earliest Indian atlas,
a map of Delhi,
and some of the most extraordinary portraits of the Mughal emperors(and royal ladies..!as well...!)😊.

Being in a library and not a museum, most of the objects are kept in storage and are rarely seen.

Also includes a copy of Nuskhah-yi Shah Jahani, Shah Jahan's recipe book. It has recipes for kebabs and samosas, this shows how Persian and Hindu styles of cooking melded together in the imperial kitchen.

"
Rare manuscripts, maps and paintings are displayed in the show that spans the entire arc of the Mughal Empire-from Babur's victory over the Sultan of Delhi in the Battle of Panipat in 1526 to 1858 when the emperor and poet Bahadur Shah II was exiled to Burma.

The show gives a wider story of Mughal culture-from science and poetry to politics and daily life. There are books on mathematics, astronomy and a very early atlas. These highlight contributions of scientists of that time.

MAJOR ATTRACTION-->> a 5m-long panorama of Delhi made in 1846 by Mazhar Ali. Large parts of the idyllic green city, as seen from Red Fort, were destroyed in the 1857 uprising. This is the ONLY picture of Delhi before the destruction in 1857..

Helpless in stopping the destruction, Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last Mughal emperor of Delhi, expressed his sadness through verse..."Delhi was once a paradise, Where love held sway and reigned; But its charm lies ravished now, And only rui
ns remain."

Fusion went from food to faith
during Akbar's reign
.
The exhibition has a rare illustrated manuscript of the translation of the Mahabharata commissioned in Persian by Akbar. Called the Razmnama-the Book of Battles-the translation was ordered in 1582 to make the epic widely accessible. It was a collaborative project between Hindu and Muslim scholars.

Among other gems is one that shows the festival of Holi in gorgeous red and yellows😃, and the portrait of Emperor celebrating Diwali..😃.

Also,a beautifully illustrated pigeon-fancier's manual is on display.

BTW:--->>> I tell you about a game which the emperor used to play called - Kabutarbaazi (Bird Hunt.!!)😆.with royal ladies. and Aankh Micholi (Blind Man game)😉.

(i found very LESS information on this, Even, he got pavillions constructed in the palaces of his queen, where used to play such games. If anyone has visited Fatehpur Sikri palace and seen the palace in DETAIL, he/she must be knowing it.😆.
Anyways, if don't know, i have a brief info. will discuss in future posts..😆..It's exposes a very different side of him...)

"

The infant Akbar recognizes his mother at Kabul in 1545.

Fireworks...Festival of Diwali...

A person making fireworks..

Fireworks in Sky...

The exhibition ends with the only known photograph of Bahadur Shah Zafar in May 1858, which shows a wan-looking emperor reclining on a charpoy.

They have NOT brought the originals...But thanks to technology, one can still get surprised by the exquisite details packed into a few square inches of painted parchment.

Hope, it was helpful. I'll not be able to visit it.
If i visit, will try to get some pics, if possible.
The exhibition is already a HUGE success, in 3 days only.!!!.

Credit : These pics and info are mailed to me by a friend and professor, who are helping me in sourcing the reading material for this topic.(JA/akbar/mughals.)
In that info, i have just mentioned some historical events, which i have known till date, to make it worth reading...
Hope u 👍🏼 it..Comment..!!..
