At that point of time before marriage, he hated her becos she pointed him with her sword. I don't thinks its his possessiveness, he hated her that much that no one should praise her.
But now things have started changing. In her B'day Jashan, the dancers were praising her.
they didn't praise her beauty in jashan..they were congratulating her n even him
in jashan... n it was closed jashan in btw the walls of agra palace... they were specially appointed for that function..not he just met in no land in the middle of desert.
he didn't stop those banjaran in hate..it was completely unacceptable at that time for Mughals n i think any other royalty..(but i can only tell about Mughal)... that their respected royal ladies beauty ... discusse n praise by any other man in public...
he is possessive with jo..but believe me he will not like..if he hears even salima beauty or bakhshi song by any random banjara in the middle of desert ...
it is more of protectiveness than possessiveness.. we the ladies of 21st century may be cant take this protectiveness in positive way...but i t was very different world...even women didn't like to be discussed their beauty like this way and they expected from their men to react.
i hope i was able o make my point... 😳
