At that point of time before marriage, he hated her becos she pointed him with her sword. I don't thinks its his possessiveness, he hated her that much that no one should praise her.
But now things have started changing. In her B'day Jashan, the dancers were praising her.

they didn't praise her beauty in jashan..they were congratulating her n even him
in jashan... n it was closed jashan in btw the walls of agra palace... they were specially appointed for that function..not he just met in no land in the middle of desert.
he didn't stop those banjaran in hate..it was completely unacceptable at that time for Mughals n i think any other royalty..(but i can only tell about Mughal)... that their respected royal ladies beauty ... discusse n praise by any other man in public...
he is possessive with jo..but believe me he will not like..if he hears even salima beauty or bakhshi song by any random banjara in the middle of desert ...
it is more of protectiveness than possessiveness.. we the ladies of 21st century may be cant take this protectiveness in positive way...but i t was very different world...even women didn't like to be discussed their beauty like this way and they expected from their men to react.
i hope i was able o make my point... 😳

I think Jalal is deeply attracted and possessive of Jodha. I have this thinking because of three reasons.
1) He has retained and kept the payal with him after seeing her a couple of times in Amer. He still possess this payal. He need not have to do so if he is not very attracted.😊 to her or in love with her (which is does not realize).
2) The day after the scene where Jodha needed body warmth, when she gets up and asks Jalal who brought her here, Jalal said that who else has the courage to bring her here apart from him. This shows his possessiveness for her😉
3) Third and not the least there have been quite a few instances when he has acted in favour of Jodha and opposed to MA's or Ruqaiya's thinking. If he was not attracted to her or felt strongly for her, he would not have done so..
Well this is my thinking.

Ya sweety I think he was possessive to the point of irrationality... But Jodha was just a pretty face to him then... She's a lot more now😳😳😳
