sooo Iqbal mentioned in an interview that there is no 'kamolikas' in Tumhari pakhi right? I take it kamolikas are vamps right, I don't watch that many serials.. So then what are mahajee and lavanya? They are the 'kamolikas' without the heavy jewellery and layers of make up! That lavanya just irritates me, does the actress ever take a good role? There can never ever in the history of Indian television be a serial without a vamp ruining the story 😡 I mean for once wouldn't it Be nice if there was nobody doing bad things to the bahu.. Anyway atleast we get to see iqbal on TV again, would like it a whole lot more if someone abducts mahajee and lavanya LoL #peace :)

Hi foxy. You have a point about Indian Serials always having these Vamps.

They are needed maybe to make the story interesting BUT what I fail to understand is WHY do the heroines need to be sooo good and not be smart enough to at least acknowledge that they know and see and feel their duplicitous attitude and be at least one step ahead of them.

Lavania and Mahaji are both portrayed mean and self-centered and I see that Paakhi is aware that Lavania does not like her but she is completely oblivious to Mahaji's shenanigans .

I am hoping this serial writers give Paakhi the smarts to deal with them and show her strong and clever enough to handle them.

By the way my name is Dolly and I like your moniker Foxy.

He was wrong afterall. He forgot to include the maid from hell and a neurotic sister in law in the equation.

Vamps are people who makes others life hell for no reasons own to anyone, least of all viewers 😆

In that sense IMO Lavanya and MahaJi does not qualify as vamps. They are all together in this to do what Anshuman want, which coincidentally matched with their own point of view too. Given the nature shown of both the characters, I do not think they would have been rude to Paakhi even if they hated her for some reason IF Anshuman meant bringing Paakhi home as wife.

I agree with u dear...they are actually not vamps in the sense of our saas-bahu vamps...both are doing all this only because of Anshuman...I think once Anshuman accepts her they also would be willing to do same...

As for Lavaniya...she actually irritates me when she talks...and her appearance is also too harsh...she does not look like she has an iota of softness in her heart...but lets see if the cvs give us some logical reason for her harsh attitude...

I agree with you that Lavania and Mahaji do not qualify as the usual Vamps.
But they are there to make life difficult for the heroine in this case Paakhi.
I think Lavania would be against Paakhi just because she is from a small village and hence Lavania's opinion was already set due to her superior and snobbish attitude.

And Mahaji would be upset that the chain of command was being taken over by a newcomer that she believes is hers by tenure.

And Anshuman telling them to make life difficult for Paakhi has actually given them carte blanche to behave badly. Which in my opinion they would have been difficult anyway.
