Nayantara seems to have become the costliest actress of South India by charging more than a crore rupees for her next movie. The hot and happening actress has been paid a bomb to work with her ex-beau Simbu in forthcoming Tamil movie directed by Pandiraj.
We played a nosy parker in gathering information about her remuneration for the untitled flick. If we have to believe what gossip mongers are speculating, Nayan has charged Rs 1.25 crores! Believe it or not she has become the first actress from South to have charged so much to act in a Tamil movie.
Industry insiders are not surprised by her demand to charge Rs 1.25 crores. Her success rate decides her remuneration and Raja Rani and Arrambam's success have made her to quote such an amount from the producer of Pandiraj directorial flick, in which she will be playing the love interest of Simbu.
And if any filmmaker wants to rope her in for their movies, they should meet her demand as producers are making a beeline to get her callsheet for their films.
