I feel that Andy's British accent is so forced. It only comes out after Sophia speaks in her accent (which is genuine).

Otherwise his accent is normal Indian wala. When she starts speaking British accent, even he starts. 😆

Is it only me?

He live in London, he is a VJ, he is a host.
So Accent english is normal for andy

that's actually pretty normal. me and my friends speak english in indian accent with each other but when we interact with americans here our accent changes automatically :/ so i guess when sofia speaks with an accent its normal for andy to switch. 😛

Andy lives in London, works as a VJ..and has a British Passport...

So, lets not judge his accent plz

when i speak in english i have an english accent

but when i speak punjabi or hindi/urdu then my accent is more desi

i think its normal with andy

No, i find his accent quite normal. Maybe because I am used to the British accent.

Andy was from Berkshire a county just outside London. And later worked in London before moving to India. You tend to develop an accent from where you live. You can tell is Hindi accent isn't native as well. But when you are around people with an accent you are familiar with you tend to slip back. Which is why Sophia brings out his accent.

I know it happens to my aunt, she's from the US and when we talk or stay with her, her Britishness comes back via us.

omg finally someone realised it too. It bugs me everytime that he talks in english. It is not even a UK english accent, it looks forced. I have never heard someones accent like this before. He tries to be nore european like i like this type of food, this place etc...
