i think she's bengali because I remember Reshmi (Bhoomi) saying in an interview that all the bengali girls on the set like her and KT gang up against the punjabi mundey like pulkit (laksh), amit (manthan), and Joydeep.

shes Hindu/Bengali and shes from New Dehli cuz in an article it said that Mouni Roy(KT) had done her studies all her life there including school, high school and university so that means she spent most of her childhood and adulthood there
