There is always a possibilty that he wonr recover from the paralysis ( I know he will recover in the show but practically speaking there is always a chance he wont) in which case he wont be able to sire a baby (atleast not the natural way)
So does does it make sense to give up on this one, even practically speaking?
Pregnancies are hidden in BW quite often and that too till last few months . So thats another practical option
and where I do agree love is not enough, onedoesnt need to be super rich either
