Kulvaddhu goes off air after just three months!

Kulvaddhu is being pulled off air today after being on for only three months. The serial, produced by Anuj Saxena, will be replaced by Thode Khushi, Thode Gham and the slot left open by this move will be filled by Smriti Irani's Virrudh. The production house says that it is completely channel's decision to pull off the show.

The stars of Kulvaddhu give us their reaction to this decision:

Shourya (Sachin Sharma)
"It's not nice. I'm feeling bad and sad about it. Everything was excellent - production, star cast but in the end whatever happens, it happens for good. If the show is going off the air then no one feels good about it. I'm going to miss this unit and it was more like family to me. We never have to make any special efforts for interacting with each other. It is like more of personal loss than professional loss for me."

"In Sindoor as well my character went into the jail. So now I don't want to take rest or a break and I'm looking forward for some script which is there for me. I'm ready to play negative as well as positive role. Soon I'll start working for one them."

Antra Singh Rathod (Kitu Gidwani)
"It is very sad to hear this news. I'm going to miss the entire cast and crew. It was fun during shoot. We used have blast. We were like family and we used to play game so I'm going to miss that very much. The production house was very fantastic and I never worked with such a classy man like Anuj. He is very dignified to his work. Offers are there for plays and as well as for shows, but nothing is finalized yet."

Agni (Shaleen Bhanaut)
"It's very sad. I'm very much emotionally attached with this show because of my character. This character was one of the best characters of the television I have ever seen. Everybody says that we were like family but seriously we used to have lunch together and lot of fun. I'm feeling bad for Anuj. He is very good producer."

"I'm going to miss the mails and appreciation I used to get for this role. I want to concentrate on my last episode as I want viewers to miss it later. But you have to move on in your life. I haven't thought about what I am going to do after the show will go off air. Lots of offers are there but I haven't signed anything as yet."

Janhavi (Mansi Verma)
"I'm so shocked. Track, stars and everything was so good, but I don't know why it is going off the air. They should at least give six months to every serial to settle down. I'm very upset because they have given a very short time to us. It was very rare combination of nice producer and nice stars. There are no offers for serial right now, so I want to concentrate on my live shows for which I do anchoring."

Indeed, Agni was one of the best characters I have ever watched.

I'm feeling bad for Anuj. He is very good producer.

But I'm also proud of him for handling this situation very well.

Dont worry Shaleen, the mails and appreciation wont stop coming 😳

And as for missing Agni, I don't think I'll ever stop missing him...

Omg guys...shaleen jaan is referring to us .......how sweet!!!!! i love him sooo much and yes shaleen we will always remember you in the role agni...really one of the best characters seen on TV ever!!! hope to see you soon in a similar role.....

To the fans: so today is last episode of Kulvaddhu? So we don't even get to see a proper ending ...why didnt i know about this....i cant move anymore...omg i am crying right now ...i thought we still had some days left 😭

awwww...if we feel so bad...just imagine how these ppl feel...it was their show...awww they all said they were like family...and Janvi aka Mansi Verma is totally rite they shud give atleast 6 months for every show to settle down!!!
