My mother tongue is Hindi and I can speak and read Hindi fluently. But sadly I can't write Hindi good. 😭

But I don't blame myself. It's genetical. The past generations including my grandfather and father failed in Hindi...so what right do I have to break this 'parampara'? 😆

Cheers,

Anjali

My mother tongue is urdu... I'm fine with it although we don't really speak urdu at home... In our house we speak english and mirpuri 'cos those are the languages that are mostly spoken around us and we have just adapted into them... I could speak urdu well anyway and I have urdu lessons at school which have made my urdu reading and writing skills good too...

My mother tongue is creole, that is, a dialect of Mauritius. It is not a recognised language but it ressembles a lot to French and the sentences have the same structures. One can say the words of French and Creole are identical. This is why I speak better French than English.
