All the MARDS of this forum, please put your hands up if you are guilty of online shopping like girls apparently do.

Debate. Why is shopping online considered to be a girly trait? It should be the traits of the lazy ones. I have never shopped online and i am a girl i must confess. I may have looked online for clothes, but always prefer to try them in store before buying them, or testing the products, seeing them with my own naked eyes.

I've never known it to be a girly thing. Not sure if its supposed to be girly in India but in the west, both males and females buy online, people are spending more online rather than buying in the shop over the past few years. I know Flipkart is one the biggest online shopping providers in India, even Amazon has launched in India so its booming everywhere. Its a non issue really.

Okay when i talk about Online shopping, i am not referring to e-bay or Amazon.

More like Stores for electronics, clothes, food etc , where you don't get a bargain if you had to for example walk in the store itself and buy the same product. Ie products they sell in Argos. Or say for example, clothes, shoes, food etc that kind of shopping.

Well Kareena took digs at Imran Hasmi for shopping online, when he took digs at her for being on phone all the time. She said, you shop online all the time like a girl does.

Well the beauty of that now is Amazon stock a lot of it at cheaper prices then Argos etc, offering FREE delivery too. Even clothing retailers sell online and if you've had that brand before at least you know the sizing and can just order stuff, a lot of retailers also offer free returns so its a win win situation really. And with groceries, you can buy online anyway and compare and contrast prices to see where its cheaper.

I do that as well. I have even done my Indian groceries online when I lived in a really remote area with no major chains around.
