The week that was, just sums up SaMud unconditional love for each other.

The week started with Saras thanking God for saving Kumud's life and he again promised to stay away from her for her welfare. Dugbaa tried to convince him that his decision was wrong but Saras left giving some excuses.

Dugbaa went to Kumud who was restless and eager to meet Saras. Dugbaa reassured her and asked her to convince Saras that they were made of each other and that's the reason why God saved Kumud's life! Kumud called Saras several times but he avoided her calls. In the meantime Saras realized that it was Pramad's hand behind the accident. He took the police to his place but he was not there!

When Saras returned to the hospital, he rushed to Kumud's room thinking that she was unwell but it was not the case. He was trapped. He could no longer avoid Kumud. He tried to fake annoyance, to persuade her that they had no future together but Kumud didn't let him wave her faith in their love. She opened up her heart to him, told him in no uncertain terms how much she loved him and how destiny was giving them a second chance that they should not let go. When she told Saras how she heard all his promises he made to her despite being in a comate state, a shocked Saras resolution to stay away from her, started to falter! Finally Kumud extended her arm to him and lost in her eyes, an emotional Saras hugged her tight and both cried in each other's arms.

Kumud went back home to her family. At the same time the family got good news - an alliance for Kusum. Everybody was happy except Kusum. Kalika has noticed her off mood and decided to tap on it! When Saras went to change himself, Kalika sent Kusum to his room. An upset Kusum came out clutching Saras' shirt as she had again witnessed Saras' love for her elder sister. Guniyal scolded her for going to Saras' room. Later Kalika tried to add fuel to fire by telling her that she would never get Saras.

Saras and kumud on the other hand kept getting closer. Saras made her wear his mom's payals and promised not to let her remove them ever and not to let their love bow to anybody. Just then Saras got a call. It was from Pramad who was provoking him on the phone. An enraged left Kumud without telling him about Pramad and went to confront him. Pramad told him how he wanted to kill him but ran over Kumud instead. Saras beat him up badly but Pramad's doctor came on time to save him and told Saras how Pramad was in bad state and in terminal stage of liver cirrhosis leaving Saras completely flummoxed.

Pramad continued to provoke Saras and laughed hysterically and told Saras that he would die and Kumud would his widow! Back home Pramad got Kalika's visit who told him how his "saali" was getting engaged. Pramad wanted to meet Kumud. Apparently he had started developing "love" feeling for his wife and wanted her "maafi"An upset Saras tried to tell kumud about Pramad but decided not to. He thought Kumud was too vulnerable.

The alliance people finally came for Kusum. Kusum was miserable but tried to look interested. Danny too was not happy. He has fallen in love with her. Pramad reached there and created a scene. Kumud confronted him. Pramad asked her to forgive him and told him about the accident. Kumud was in no mood to listen to him and asked him to leave her house. Once outside he again started playing mind game with Saras. He told him he would rob Kumud from under his nose and he would just stare and won't be able to do anything.

In the meantime, Kumud went to the police station to file a case against Pramad for trying to kill her. When she met Saras, he was upset with her for going to the police station alone. Kumud too got angry because he hid the truth from her.

In her room, an upset kusum was being cheered by Danny who told her that he would be happy if the alliance was not fixed. Later he took his courage in both hands and went to confess his love to her. He told her he loved and gave her a rose. But it was not Kusum but Kalika!! When Kusum came in the room unaware of Danny's feelings for her, Dugbaa made her put the rose in her hair and they both went to serve lunch to the Vyas brothers. Danny was happy to see the rose. He thought that Kusum had reciprocated feelings for him.

Pramad on the other hand was busy doing drama in the village calling Kumud his wife when the police came to arrest him.

At the haveli the family was still upset about Pramad barging in their house which may have upset the boy's family who came for kusum. Kumud proposed to go to say sorry to them but just then the phone rang. The boy and the family approved and liked Kusum. Everybody was happy. Danny was devastated. He told kusum not to accept the rishta if she was not happy. Kusum replied that she would marry the boy chosen by her family. A heartbroken Danny left for home.

Kumud went to meet Saras at his house. They both said sorry to each other.

Kumud: Sorry! But it was wrong of u to think I am weak. I can fight my battle

Saras: I am also sorry. I will not hide anything from you. I need to tell u...

He was interrupted by Danny who had wanted to talk to him. The bothers left and kumud got a call from the police station.
