i read back on your posts, and i understand what you guys are saying and i agree with the point that J-B were special because they were J-B - that's it! you can have too much of a good thing.

however, whatever "good" stuff we are getting is not only half-baked because of the body double use - which I can live with until circumstances improve for the actors - but it is also not as special because it is badly written. (ie. the lack of any apology to JW from Billo, Bani etc, the lack of any scenes to show J-B clearing the air with each other and then a slow reconnection etc)

what my post intended to say was that boycotting the show is the answer to bad writing, neither is killing off certain characters because we dont like what they have done to our favourite couple.

while i agree that J-B is the show's USP, it cannot be said that every other character is therefore dispensable. 😊

All is not lost yet with KS... I do hope that Nina is right about things taking a turn for the better when baby Krishna finally arrives. Hopefully lots of interesting new stories will come up when that happens rather than just one track.

Right now the story is still suffering due to the bad stories of the past. The biggest problem is definitely in the writing. Whilst original stories are tough to come up with, even conventional and predictable stories can work if they are treated well by the writers (like the Rajshri productions movie 'Vivah' - I hated it, most most others liked it and the movie made lots of money) ... in this case the KS are not doing a great job.

On the production front, I still do have faith that Balaji have the expertise and experience to make the adjustments that are needed to turn the mess around. Things like the use of body doubles cannot really be avoided when a star (Prachi Desai in this case) gets injured... in movies, shoots can get prosponed, but on TV, prosponements aren't possible.

Whilst the Star network may take well to the YRF productions, it's difficult to see Zee ever switching alliances... therefore I still don't think that Balaji Telefilms will be in much trouble as of such. And with the announcements of strong movie projects, it seems that Balaji will become stronger due to success on the big screen.

well said jj this is really my last post for now...for me as long as the story moves along and serves a purpose its fine because at the end of the day its a drama not real to me anyways.....as much as i like the character i suffered pia being butchered but also had faith she is gonna be redeamed which i am still convinced of why they not showing the DNA report...people have a problem when rapes showed 😕 ,ons , remarriage of a widow is it not realistic that with raashi dying and sahil dead those two would naturally be but together i dont know i kind of see where they coming from . Ever single show has it downs and picks up....whats upsetting is the fact people remeber the bad not the good and slate the writers for one thing or another and NEVER seem happy whatever they do i mean i feel defeated for ekta and her creatives god knows what the writers are thinking people should wait and see ...old storylines if done people tell them oh they being repeated whats the need .......orignal ideas are very hard if they do try to do storys orignal not accepted ....people dont see the good stuff ekta puts through her shows just the bad i know people probably thinking what good stuff there is alot if you think about it ....i find kasamh se boring but i know all shows do that even saath phere does that and their viewers are exactly the same ! so its not just ekta is it or ks creatives.....if i thought there was something wrong i would not hesitate to say it whether its ekta or anyone else i think the raashi and ranveer marriage should not have happened but it did...i am not condoning ons etc people who know me what i know am like but at end of the day it all happens in society indian or not.

I understand your POV. When I started to watch KS, back in MAY 2006, its story was converging on the JAI-Bani relationship. JAI WALIA blew me to smitterines and I fell in love head over heels and then some more. So even though the story is about or should be about the 3 sisters; for me personally, it has always been about JAI WALIA and the J-B chemistry.

I am and will always remain a JAI WALIA DESPO.

i completely agree with you, i started watching the show the week of Jai and Bani's wedding - the previous epi's i watched online much later, and i love the whole J-B thing! but that does not mean that the other 2 sisters or in fact any sidey character is unimportant - and it shouldn't be so!

I love him because of his attitude and personality, the way it used to be once. He melted me equally with his bashful smile and his thundering scowl; with his cool flirting and his harsh dress downs; with his black attires and black moods; with his control, confidence and intensity.

EKTA and the Destructives have totally ripped apart the JAI WALIA whom I loved. Also the J-B chemistry doesn't have the spark as before because of the use of body doubles. Again, for me personally, I can live without any J-B scenes for a few weeks rather then digesting some half-baked ones. I want the J-B scenes to be JDD ones and they are currently anything but JDD for me.

i agree, they are not veryy JDD at the moment because of the body doubles, HOWEVER, i cannot agree that i would rather have the two characters still at loggerheads. in fact, if one has to choose between a rock and a hard place, I would rather the doubles to the JDD scenes rather than the heartache and longing scenes, because i know i would stop caring for the couple to reunite again!

AND THIS IS MY GRIPE. I don't have any problem with anyone else in KS, I don't want anyone to loose their jobs and everyone can be redeemed. BUT, I want my JAI WALIA back, his old self and I want to see the sizzling chemistry between J-B (be it is love or hate).And until I get these back, I AM BOYCOTTING KS. I will watch KS again when the real JAI WALIA comes back, passionately, just like I used to before – sleepless, lovesick, fainting and drooling. In other words, like a total desperate.

😆 ok sonia, like i said, each to their own and if you feel the need to boycott, then go ahead and do so! 😊

but to me, it's not really about the loss of jobs, i understand that the tv industry is a very insecure one - it's more about the opportunity for the other characters to develop.

pia's volte face whether good to evil or evil to good was just so undeveloped and sudden that we thought it ridiculous - and that was purely because her storyline or thought process was not written properly, or not given any thought. if her redemption can be dealt with correctly, then why shouldnt her character get a second chance too?

I will never leave the KS forum though; the FFs are just too good.

Yes due to the forum we can talk and react on the on show and share our view...
but still I don't think by boycotting the show, we will get our way....

I know and understand that we hate to see this show fall and you are all trying to help.... but I also think we have to take a step back because it will be a waist off energy...

the creative didn't listens to us then and wont do that now....

I think that if the creatives are out to redeem Pia then that's good. The story was always about the three sisters and I think the ons issue had destroyed the togetherness of the sisters. As much as I never really liked Pia's attitude towards life, I loved the way she used to stand up for her sisters, and I miss that.

this is the worst bit about what the kreatives have done to her character. i remember when bani was pregnant the first time round and she found out, she ripped JW to shreds!! i hated her words, but what shined through was the protectiveness for her sister - she even hadthe guts to threaten to ruin him if anything happened to her!! and now she herself is the destructor!! 😡 THAT'S the worst butchering of all!! 🤢

I could never boycott Kasamh Se, I love watching it and Ram Kapoor to much 😉.
