Anshuman and Pakhi got married in their village when Paakhi was 6 and Anshuman was only 11. Right after that, their families had some kind of conflict, and Anshuman's dad broke the relationship between the two families and left the village. Then he started his own business and became rich.
When the show starts, we see Anshuman climbing the mountain and everyone praising him because he's not only a successful businessman but also a courageous person. Basically he loves to be praised, and very conscious about his image.
There a lady tried to talk to Anshuman's sister about Anshuman and her daughter's marriage... but Anshuman's sister kinda ignores. Then we see a rich old guy talking about his daughter and Anshuman's rishta.. and Anshuman's sister seems happy with it. So the lady who got rejected aims to insult Anshuman, and few mins later in the press conference, she asks Anshuman about his first wife, and that how can he think of his third marriage when he has never acknowledged his first wife! Then she challenges him to bring her home.. and he accepts her challenge. But he plans to get a divorce paper signed by Paakhi so he can shut everyone's mouth.
Anshuman finds Paakhi who's a tourist guide in her village. There her family gets mad at him and denies to let her go with Anshuman, and tells him that they'll get her married to someone else. Anshuman doesn't get the chance to explain that he came to break the marriage, and not to take her with him. But then he pretends that he actually went there to bring her home. They were mad at him but eventually let him stay at their house overnight where Anshuman tells Paakhi about his first wife who passed away and his 7 year old son. He thought Paakhi will never want to go with him after knowing he's married and has a son too. But then Paakhi talks to her family and they forgave Anshuman.
The next morning they arranged a ceremony where the rest of the rituals of marriage will be done and Paakhi will be officially Anshuman's wife. Anshuman tried to stop it but fails to show them the divorce paper. He was also mesmerized at Paakhi's beauty who dressed up as a bride. Then the rituals are done and registration is also completed.
In the precap we see that Anshuman brings Paakhi home and he gets the award for best businessman of the year or something where that lady from first episode again tries to insult Anshuman but Paakhi defends her husband.. 😳
