Anandi dressed in her baby pink, leaf green and golden bridal trousseau was sitting on the bed decorated with roses and jasmine flowers. She had looked one beautiful bride, this she was told like 458 times by her family, friends and of course the major contribution to the compliment came from her husband Shiv. Shiv he had his own princely charm. Anandi was nervous under the veil. It was their wedding night. Her heart was slamming wildly. She could swear that the sound of her heartbeat was echoing in the quiet room where she was waiting for her husband to come. She heard the door open and close. She lifted her eyes and looked at her husband through the transparent veil. He was always quick to fasten the bolt. He was coming towards her with a smile on his face. She was nervous to death but he was not. Shiv sat on the bed and patiently waited drinking in the beauty of her through his eyes for a while before he lifted her veil. She was getting impatient and so she ended up lifting her own veil. He laughed making fun of his impatient wife and she blushed. He was mesmerized by her beauty and she was equally by his handsome face. He held her face with both his hands and tilted her head down and placed a gentle kiss on her maang which was adorned with a long streak of vermillion.
Shiv: Shaadi Mubarak ho Anandi.
Anandi: Aapko bhi Shaadi Mubarak Shiv.
Shiv: Kya baat hai someone is very impatient?
Anandi: Wha..wha..I am not impatient.
Anandi was flabbergasted at Shiv's comment. He called her am impatient bride. Well he was not completely wrong. Shiv: Why are you giggling? Am I looking cute like a snowman as I am all covered in foam? This snowman is feeling cold. He wants some warmth.
Anandi: Yes Shiv you are looking like a snowman, the abominable snowman.
Shiv: Yeti?
Anandi: Mm hmm.

Shiv had picked Anandi on one shoulder and took her in the shower area. In one go her white satin sheet and his white towel was lying in a heap near the shower floor. Anandi could barely cover herself with her hands. Shiv held her hands and took them off her body. Both could feel their breathing on each other's faces. Anandi's breathing became faster and faster. Shiv caressed her hairs, which were covering her dark chocolate eyes. Both were in tune of their heart, Shiv moved forward and Anandi backward. Her back hit the wall. He did not go forward but pulled back. He was smiling slyly as Anandi was in the mood. He turned on the shower and cold water poured on Anandi. She felt cold and came and hugged Shiv for warmth. Shiv was still covered in soap lather. He too hugged her and the soap foam from his body was transferred to her body. Anandi realized that it was Shiv's plan to get her to him. She wanted to get away from him as she was miffed with him.
Anandi: Shiv let me go. What are you doing?
Shiv: Just being a good District Collector. I am conserving water, electricity, soap, time and energy.
Anandi looked at him as she understood the conservation of water, electricity, soap and time but how was he conserving energy.
Shiv: Well I am applying soap foam to your body so you don't have to waste energy in doing so.
With this Shiv once again hugged her and meshed their bodies together. Anandi was telling Shiv to let her go but he did not. He continued to hug her and kiss her. Anandi too loved his touch all over her. She was enjoying it but also wanted him to let her go. Only after sometime did she realize that Yeti does not speak English and she was not speaking yeti. He went all yeti on her. It had been half an hour and they were enjoying themselves. Anandi was feeling shy but was also loving that was Shiv was making up for lost time. They both were spent and sat there under the shower.
Shiv: Anandi what are you doing?
Anandi: You had your chance Mr. Yeti now it is Mrs. Yeti's turn.

Shiv: Well if you are asking me, your clothes have been sent for washing. As for what you will wear I like the towel. You could wear it or not.
Anandi: Shiv please stop. Look at the time. I have to get breakfast ready and...
Shiv: And nothing. Anandi you are a new bride you can't to anything in the kitchen till your mehendi fades.
Anandi: Yeah what about the meetha rasam? Don't you want me to make your favorite halwa?
Shiv: Meetha na? You could give it to me here and now wifey. Ho jaaye ho jaaye haan kuch meetha ho jaaye'.
Shiv hugged her from the back and slid his hand under her towel while singing for metha. She turned and looked at Shiv and mocked anger. He gave her a gift packet. She opened it excitedly and saw a red and yellow ghagra. She quickly got dressed in it. She put on light day makeup. Anandi and Shiv were ready to leave from the room but Shiv stopped her. He settled them on the bed. Anandi was resting on his chest. It was a Sunday. They both had an off. Shiv called for breakfast to their room. It was prepared by his mother and served by Saachi. Anandi and Shiv enjoyed breakfast in bed.
Shiv: I am sorry Anandi for everything we had to go through.
Anandi: Please Shiv don't say sorry. You have already apologized in ways more than one. They were bad times and so bad things happened but all is well now. Waise Shiv I am missing the doodhwala, sabziwala, paperwala Shiv. They were so..
Shiv: So what?

Anandi was teasing Shiv as he did not like her drooling over the avatars he had taken to make her smile. He and only he in his original collector avatar should interest her and nothing else. He pinned her under him and tickled her to make her say that he was the best. Her Collector sahib was the best. She caressed his face and said it willingly with love. Shiv had pain in his eyes.
Shiv: How could I make such a huge blunder? How could I have been so wrong to have wronged you? You were right no good could have ever come out of Saachi and Jagdeesh's alliance in the first place and things spiraled when he broke it off.
Flashback.
Dark times lie ahead' this was the first thought which had come to Anandi's mind when Jagdeesh came and broke his alliance with Saachi. Things were already bad and became worse when the Shekhar's had gone to Jaitsar to patch things up but saw Jagdeesh fill Ganga's maang with vermillion. The ties between the two families were severed. Anandi was made to choose between her two families and she went with her saasrawalas as she loved Shiv very deeply and was taught not to leave her saasra under any circumstances. She thought she could stay there and try to repair the damage done. Everything had changed for her in her saasra. Ira and Saachi were constantly abusing her verbally. She could not tell anything to anyone not even Shiv because he was engulfed in his own pain and rage. Shiv had detached himself from her. She tried to reach him but he was far away from her emotionally. The matters went from worse to worst when Saachi faked a suicide attempt.
Shiv and his family wanted justice for Saachi. According to them Saachi was right as she had fooled every one with her pretences. Saachi wanted revenge from Jagdeesh for dumping her. Anandi's two families were at war. She was in a fix as to whom she should side with, her saasra or her maayka. Ira's constant taunts and Shiv's non cooperation movement was shattering Anandi from inside. Ira was more concentrated on her revenge on the Singh's rather than helping Saachi come out of this pain. The state filed aiding and abetting to commit suicide charges against Jagdeesh. Saachi too was charged by the state as trying to commit suicide was a criminal offence. The matters were now in court. Anandi was summoned as Jagdeesh's first wife, to give a statement against him and to prove him to be of philanderer by nature. The two families were face to face in the court premises and Anandi as standing in the middle. The court hearing began. Things were not good for Jagdeesh in the beginning but the truth finally came out. Jagdeesh was found to be innocent by the court.
Saachi on losing the case had said some real nasty stuff to Anandi witnessed by her family. No family would take such an insult to their daughter. Basant had come with Ghanshyaam kaka and Mannu as he was missing his parents. He heard everything Saachi said to Anandi. He had blasted his and Shiv's family for remaining quiet while Saachi insulted Anandi. He did not listen to anyone even Anandi and took her to Jaitsar with him. She was on her way to Jaitsar Anandi texted Shiv.
SMS: Shiv please be with the family. They need you right now especially ma and Saachi. Please don't be harsh to them. Don't worry about me. I am and will be fine. I will calm tausa down in a day or two and then you can come take me. I will be in touch with you. Love you. Forever yours, your loving wife Anandi.
Shiv had read the message and replied to her.
SMS: I love you too Anandi. How will you ever be able to forgive me? I will win your and the families trust back and I will come to take you. You don't have to do it alone. Forever yours, your temporarily absent now reporting to duty husband Shiv.
Shiv smiled thinking all was well between them. That afternoon Shiv left for Jaitsar to surprise Anandi. Shiv knew that the family especially tausa would not let him in the house so he went to the backside of the house. The window of Anandi's room opened on that side. She was in her room reading and missing Shiv. Well the missing was been done more than the reading. She heard some sounds but ignored them. Then she heard the sound of tiny pebbles hitting on the glass of the window. She went to the window and opened and a tiny pebble hit her on the forehead.
Anandi: Ouch!!
Shiv: Sorry!!
Anandi: Shiv what are you doing here?
Shiv: I came to see you.
Anandi: Dekh liya? Now leave.
Shiv: No!!
Anandi: Shiv!!
She told Shiv to leave and closed the windows. She went back to reading her book. She could not concentrate on her book. She was thinking about Shiv and the way she closed the window on him. She ran to the window and opened it and looked for Shiv but he was nowhere in view. She thought he left and was sad. She turned and saw him lounging on her bed.
Shiv: Missing me already?
Anandi: Shiv? What? How?
Shiv: The door of your room was open wife.
Anandi: Get off my bed and out of my room Shiv. You will be in great trouble and me too if you are found here. I told you I will take care of everything and then call you to come and take me. Why have you come? Shiv I know my family members would not be wrong if they said something rash to you but I don't want you to go through any of it. Please now be a good husband and go home.
Shiv: Really we would get into trouble if we are caught? I have never been in trouble with a girl's parents ever before. Wow how exciting? It is like I have sneaked into my girlfriend's home. Waise I like the idea of us being boyfriend and girlfriend. I really never got to court you. So will you be my girlfriend?
Anandi: Oh stop it Shiv did you not hear what I said? It would hurt me Shiv if someone said something to you. Haven't we been hurt enough? How did you get in? Did you climb up the step ladder? What if you would have fallen? Why do you keep doing this Shiv?
Shiv: Hey wife I don't want to hurt you I want to love you. You know it was all very easy for me with your family. I want to make things right. I had help to get inside the house. Unlike you there are people in this house who would help me.
Anandi: Who helped you?
Shiv: I will not tell on my helper. I found some rope in the barn and I did rope climbing in my school and college days.
Anandi just gaped at him. She was standing at the foot of the bed with her hands at her waist. Shiv tired to hug her but she stopped him. She had a policy - no making out in Dsa's house. The look in her eyes also told him that he would have to work his way back to being her hubby. She would make it right with her family and him but what about the two of them. She had said she was fine but not that all was fine between them. Shiv left as that was what she wanted. Anandi did not hear the car leave. She went to the car. He said that she told him to leave from the house. He had parked outside the house perimeter wall. Shiv slept in his Bolero. She did not want him sleeping in the car but she could not take him inside. She was in a fix between Shiv and her family. She got a blanket and got in from the passenger's side and covered him. She wanted to drive away with him right away but she also had to consider the pain her family went through. She could not leave them like this. They were hurt and aching for her more than for themselves. Shiv had lost some of their trust and she wanted him to win it. She sat there looking at his sweet childlike smile. She too fell asleep resting her head on his shoulder. He woke up at the crack of dawn and saw Anandi sleeping there next to him.
Shiv was looking at Anandi. He caressed her hair and woke her up. They were gazing lovingly at each other. Shiv was about to peck her on the forehead but she moved back. They heard the giggle of Mannu who was on the hood lying flat on his tummy and cupping his face with his hands. They came out of his car and she took Mannu. She asked him to leave pretending to be angry with him. They had to sort things and Shiv was determined not to leave without her. She took Mannu inside.
Dsa: Ri chorri where are you coming from?
Anandi: Dsa I woke up early and saw Mannu playing outside Jagya and Ganga's room. I took him out to the garden.
Sumitra: Laado chalo good that you are awake. I will make your favorite breakfast and don't you dare say that you are not hungry. Go and quickly freshen up. Ganga come and take Mannu. He too needs to get ready.
Jagdeesh and the two Singh's brothers came down. He took Mannu from Sumitra. Jagdeesh had seen Shiv's Bolero from his room. He told Ganga about it. She said maybe Anandiji doesn't know about it. She told him that he is the family's kuwarsa and we can't let him go like that. Jagdeesh came and greeted Shiv. Shiv told him about Anandi not wanting to go with him till the family does not approve and he too did not want to take her without their permission. Jagdeesh took Shiv to the back room where Shiv freshened up. Ganga who had come to look for Mannu and daactar saab saw Shiv. She asked him to come in but he told them that he had to manao the family and especially Anandi.
Ganga: Kuwarsa you don't worry. This family cannot be angry with you for long. You behaved like any brother who loved his sister would.
Jagdeesh: Yes Shiv come on inside.
They got Shiv inside BH. He touched the elders' feet and asked for forgiveness. Dsa, Bhairon, Sumitra and Gehna knew that it was not Anandi's husband whose behavior was rude. He was reacting as they would have if something like this would have happened to their daughter. Everyone was happy to see him other than Basant. He was about to leave.
Shiv: Tausa I know I have hurt everyone especially Anandi but could you not give me one chance.
Basant: I will forgive you only on one condition get a smile on our daughter's face. The smile you promised would never fade.
The entire family decided to help Shiv get a smile on Anandi's face. Anandi did not know that Shiv had met everyone. She was sad as she was here and he was in Udaipur as his car had been moved out and taken to the godown. The wife in her smacked herself thinking she should have gone with her when she had the chance. Anandi came down and joined her family so that they would not worry about her. There was a knock on the door.
Dsa: Anandi chorri everyone else is busy. The milkman must have come. Go and take the milk.
Anandi did as she was told. She went to take the milk and saw Shiv in the milkman avatar. She was shocked to see him in that dress up. Mannu was with her. He was looking at them and smiling like he smiled on seeing his ma and bapusa.
Anandi: Shiv what are you doing here? What is all this? What will people think if they see you like this?
Shiv: I am not Shiv memsahib. I am milkman. The price for the milk - your sweet smile.
Anandi: Shiv please my family will know you are here. Please stop all this and leave. Let me work on them. They are hurt and for me their smile is more important than mine. How can I smile when they are sad?
Shiv left. Anandi went back into the house. She gave the milk to Ganga. Everyone was sitting in the living area and looking at her with expectations of a smile. She did not smile and did not let anyone know that Shiv was there. Everyone was having their morning tea and snacks. Anandi was not as Shiv must have not had anything. Here she was worried about him and inside the kitchen kuwarsa was being fed by his sasuma with her own hands. Mannu was having his milk.
Mannu: Shifusha laya.
Anandi was shocked and she changed the topic. She had her breakfast when she got a picture from Shiv which showed that he was eating. Dsa send her out to get sabzi from sabziwala. It was Shiv again. This time he was dressed as a sabziwala. Mannu was with her. He was again looking at them and smiling like he smiled on seeing his ma and bapusa. Anandi tried to coax Mannu to not mention Shiv's name like the last time but the kid was very smart. He again said Shiv's name when he saw the haveli ladies cutting vegetables. He even took Shiv's name when he saw Dsa read the paper. Everyone was happy as Mannu was talking. Jagdeesh lifted him and said Look who's talking?' They were now cutely angered with their parenting skills as they had raised one ziddy Anandi. Anandi was thinking about the things Shiv was doing to manao her and a smile came to her face. She thought Look who's stalking'. Everyone saw it.
Basant: Arre Makhan go and tell Shiv to come inside. Bechara has been out under the sun for so long.
Anandi looked at everyone and realized that they were all in cahoots with their laadla kuwarsa. She went huffing and puffing to her room. Shiv was the victim of Anandi's fake anger.
Basant: Look Shiv we all are fine with you and no longer angry. What will you do Shiv about Anandi?
Shiv: It is an easy task to manao her tausa when she is angry but she is faking anger so it is going to be difficult. I will not give up.
Everyone was ready to talk to Anandi but Shiv wanted to woo his wife. They all went about doing their daily work as he did not want them to disturb it on his account. Shiv went to Anandi's room and saw her on the bed unfolding the folded clothes and folding them again. She ignored him and he smiled as he was sure it was very difficult for her. Shiv knew that she was faking anger but he still did not dare to join her on the bed. He sat at her study table. He was in need for some ideas as he had used his original idea like gifting her jewelry and flowers and saying sorry with a bechara face. He wanted to do something different this time. He on his laptop google searched the topics How to woo your wife?' and How to say sorry in innovative ways?' First he thought that he should apologize and then wooing her would be easy.
1. Treat her like a princess. Get her gifts like jewelry or gift her a day at the spa.
Shiv: Jewelry I have given many times. Spa in Jaitsar well I could give her a relaxing full body massage.
He looked at Anandi but she stared angrily at him. Right now she would not let him touch a millimeter of her body. Instead of giving a massage he would need one if she would do his dhulai. Idea scrapped.
2. Do household chores.
In between her work Anandi being the curious cat tried to sneak a peak of what Shiv was doing. He very efficiently kept her from doing so which irked her. Anandi did not want Shiv to stay at BH but she had to respect Dsa's decision. She was putting his clothes in the almira but Shiv came and took them from her and settled them in the almira. He smiled but she did not like him doing her work. Well this too was a flop.
3. Lapdog her.
Shiv: I would love nothing more than to follow her around.
Shiv started at once. He followed her everywhere. The BH people found it cute but not Anandi. She understood what he was up to. She gave him a pissed off look and also spoke to Gehna about the self defense techniques she had learnt. She said she would love to use them if someone stalked her or harassed her ever. Shiv returned to the room with a puppy face.
4. Let her make her own decisions.
Shiv: She always makes her decisions.
Anandi came to ask her what he wanted to have for lunch. Shiv told she could decide for her and him. Anandi left. After she left he continued.
5. Compliment and cuddle.
His favorite food was made and he complimented Anandi on eating every morsel. She took it nicely. Shiv smiled as his option to compliment worked on her. Compliment was done at night he would cuddle. The day passed quickly and it was night. Anandi came to the bedroom. Shiv had made the bed for them to sleep. Anandi saw the arrangements and she placed cushions in the middle of the bed parting it in 2. Cuddle flopped. Anandi slept facing away from him without even wishing goodnight. Shiv was very sad.
The next day Shiv was up at the crack of dawn. He was ready before Anandi woke up. She saw this and felt bad that he picked his own clothes and got his things which she used to do. Shiv did not understand as he was trying to make her happy. Shiv got her breakfast in bed and on her paratha he made a :-( face. That did not work completely as he had burnt his finger while picking up the hot paratha while Sumitra made it. She put an ointment on his burn. Shiv then put sorry + I love you notes wherever he knew she would go. Not only Anandi but everyone else saw them. Anandi and Shiv were very private people and she did not like everyone reading his notes. She went to the terrace to pick the clothes. The clothes were not there instead she saw at least 100 small cards with his picture and tears made with sketch pens. Anandi knew that this was not Shiv. They were not his ideas. That day also passed. Then next day was a Thursday. Shiv's family had come over for a detailed maafi session with the Singh's. Anandi was playing word scrabble with Daddu. Shiv interrupted the game and played with her on behalf of daddu. He formed the word SORRY. He won the game and she lost.
Both the families were observing them. Shiv was trying to say sorry to her but she was not accepting it. Shiv had tried everything and nothing worked.
Shiv: Anandi I am trying to apologize for the last 3 days. I know it is not enough for the way I behaved but could you to even give me a chance? My ideas are not working. Tell me what to do and I will do it.
Anandi: Just do one thing for me and all will be fine between us. I want my Shiv back. Could you do that for me? Just that would be enough Shiv. My Shiv he would have given me roses or jewelry or would have held his ears to say sorry. He would have made a puppy face so that I would come to him and not follow me around like a puppy. My Shiv messes up the almira. He does not set his clothes in. My Shiv needs me to give him everything. . He can't find 2 matching socks if his life depended on it. After I give him his things gets ready. My Shiv does not make the bed. He just lies down and I tuck him in. Shiv I am no longer angry with you. I never was and you know that. I am disappointed and disheartened. You don't need to google ideas to bring a smile to your wife's face. You know me Shiv, you know yourself and you know us. Just close your eyes and keep you hand on your heart and you will know what to do.
Anandi left to go to her room. She was lying on the bed on her stomach and crying. Sumitra and Bhairon came to her. They asked her not to be so stubborn. Dsa, Basant and Gehna took her side. The Shekhar's were looking at him with disappointment. He was just angry with his family. No one was helping him. He did what Anandi said. He closed his eyes and then opened them in a couple of minutes and there was his lopsided smile which had not been seen on his face for a long time.
Shiv: Ganga would you help me? I need to make jalebi's.
Ganga insisted she will make them but Shiv did not want her to. Anandi was in her room after they left her alone. The Singh's came down and heard that Shiv was in the kitchen making jalebi's. Ganga and CM were helping him. The jalebi's were made. Anandi came down to be with her family as it was rude to not be there with them. Shiv came with a plate in his hand and put it in front of Anandi. Anandi saw two perfect heart shaped jalebis. The two hearts were interlinked. A smile came to her face and she quickly went for a bite. Everyone told her to feed it to Shiv too. It was all sorted between them.
Anandi and Shiv were in the bedroom packing their bags as they were to leave in the afternoon. Shiv bent down on knees stretching his hand and put a small ring box in front of Anandi.
Shiv: Anandi will you marry me?
Anandi: Ye kya mazaak aur bachpana hai Shiv. We are already married. Aur kitni baar aapko mujhse shaadi karni hai?
Shiv: Marry in the sense let's renew our vows.
Anandi: Shiv we will do it on our first anniversary.
Shiv: Anandi no I want to do it as soon as possible. I want .. I mean.. Would you like to start afresh? Ek nayi shuruat with our punar vivah.
Anandi: Can I get back to you?
Shiv: Damn it woman say something my knees are hurting.
He screamed in pain and she happily placed her palm in his protective hand and bent down to plant a soft, warm, gentle kiss on his lips. Shiv opened the box and put a small ring shaped jalebi on her finger. They came down and told everyone that they were getting married. The two families were shocked but Anandi showed them the ring. The families left to do the preparations and Shiv wanted to eat the jalebi shaped engagement ring. Anandi told him he could not touch her till the wedding night. She refrigerated the ring. Anandi and Shiv remarried with the two families present. Her bidaai from her maayka to saasra was done and she was also welcomed at Kesar buag like a new dulhan.

Anandi was sitting in the room while Shiv went out momentarily. She opened a bejeweled box and removed a letter from it. It was Shiv's love letter which he had given her when he proposed remarriage to her. She had read it a few times but could not get enough of it.
Meri Anandi,

Anandi smiled and read the letter once more. She kissed it and kept it back in the box. He had also given her a handmade card saying it all.
Shiv came to the room and saw her smiling. He had seen her read the letter again and again. He did not think it was so special but she knew better. He gave her an envelope.
Anandi: I can't believe it.
Anandi stared at the contents of the envelope with her dark chocolaty eyes.
Shiv: Why don't you believe it? Shaadi dobara hui, suhaagraat dobara hui, toh honeymoon dobara kyun nahi?
Shiv surprised Anandi with honeymoon tickets to Kerala, to be precise he was taking her to mesmerizing Munnar. A short getaway for 3night 4 days away from the family and all the problems was just what they needed. He knew that more than going abroad she would love to see the beauty of India. Shiv had booked a beautiful individual homestay. Anandi and Shiv left on Monday morning for Cochin. They were received at the airport by the driver of the car rental service. Shiv had insisted on an English speaking driver cum guide. On their way from Cochin to Munnar Anandi and Shiv absorbed the breath taking scenery. They reached their destination. It was a beautiful ground + 1 homestay. They were given a traditional welcome. It was a beautiful home perfect for Anandi and Shiv.
Anandi: Shiv is home is so beautiful.
Shiv: Yeah. You know what I think we should also invest in some property. I mean back home let's purchase a home just like this for the two of us.
Anandi: Shiv how could we live separately in Udaipur itself? I don't want to stay away from the family. I don't want anyone to say that I took the only son away from his parents. No ways. Yeah I mean we could purchase a farm house for weekend escapes.
Shiv smiled as he understood everything she said without saying those exact words. She wanted to live in harmony with her saas keeping away all the saas bahu drama which had happened recently. Anandi and Shiv freshened up and had a traditional vegetarian meal on a banana leaf. Anandi looked at Shiv and smiled. There was no food that that man did not gorge on. Shiv had prepared the itinerary for their travel. The driver gave him better travelling and time saving tips while Anandi was getting some food packed for their outing.
Shiv had decided to cover a region surrounding Munnar on one day each. They were to being with South. Their first destination was 20 minutes from Munnar. Devikulam a hill station ideal of a one day picnic. Shiv had promised Anandi a one day picnic before marriage so he thought it was the time to start keeping promises. They had never seen such scenic beauty. The greens covering the mountains looked like a velvet carpet. It has the most exotic flora and fauna. The cool air breezing through Anandi's long tresses added beauty to the place. Shiv took many pictures of the place and Anandi amidst the flowers. She also posed with a rabbit and a deer. The driver took their pictures. They had their afternoon snacks and hot coffee there. The driver took them on a round route to Munnar passing from Pallivasal. This place too had immense scenic beauty. They were to pass through Attukal. Anandi and Shiv saw a panoramic view of the waterfalls. The white among the luscious greens was a feat to the eyes and a camera capturing view. They could not help but play and get wet under the waterfalls. Anandi was wet and Shiv could not let the driver see her like this. It was the drivers native so Shiv told him to go see his family. Anandi and Shiv drive back to Munnar. At the homestay that night the wet clothes were off and the love making was on.
The next day Shiv took Anandi to the Tea plantations. It was a beautiful place. Mountains covered with tea plants and the women picking the leaves and singing traditional songs captured Anandi's heart. They tasted different types of teas most of which were exported and not even available in Indian markets. They bought the types which they liked. There was a small plantation area where tourist could take pictures. Anandi dressed up like the women whom she had seen picking tea leaves and Shiv clicked her pictures. There were only women picking the leaves and they were told that it is a very delicate task which can be trusted only on women. Kerala is also known as the spice land. Munnar has spice fields which Anandi and Shiv visited. Anandi and Shiv visited a few other places like the Camelgiri Elephant park, Mattupetty where they visited the dairy farms and tasted cheeses and chocolates. They also did slow speed motor boating on the Mattupetty lake and dam. They also went to Echo point where Anandi shouted I Love You Shiv' and it echoed in the entire valley. Shiv too shouted I Love You Anandi'. Every place they visited became a witness to their undying love for one another. There were many more places to see but they did not have enough time. No trip is complete without shopping for local products. Anandi and Shiv had done a lot of shopping too. They had purchased spices and tea from the plantation shops. They also visited the local market from where Anandi bought beautiful handmade coir pooja basket for Dsa. She bought gift items for everyone. She suspected that Saachi may not like what she got for her but she still got her a beautiful coir utility box for her jewelry trinkets. They purchased metal candle stands for the home. Shiv complained that Anandi did not buy anything for him but he was in for a surprise.
Shiv was sitting under the stars waiting for Anandi to join him. She did not come as promised so Shiv went to check on her. When he entered the room he saw candles flickering everywhere. The room was filled with the scent of candles. He could not see Anandi but the door to the washroom was slightly open. He went in there and saw Anandi enjoying a bubble bath. She looked at him but did not ask him to join her. She picked a strawberry from the bowl and stared at it. She then took a bite of it in the sexiest way she could manage. The juices trickled down her wet skin. Shiv gulped the juices forming in his throat. She did not invite him but was enticing him. Who needs and invitation to join the wife? Shiv thought and entered the bath tub. He did not eat the strawberries but licked the juices off of Anandi. Anandi moaned with pleasure. Shiv fed her some more and licked the juices. There was also chocolate there which had almost melted. He wanted to taste the combination of flavors of Anandi, strawberries and chocolate. They were sitting face to face but now Anandi sat with her back to him resting on his chest. He gave her a back rub arousing her. She looked at him with desire in her eyes. She fed him a strawberry and did what he did to her. The passion level was on max. Shiv could not longer constraint himself. He claimed her in the bath tub itself. They were doing many new things after this nayi shuruat. They were the same old Anandi and Shiv with new dimensions.
They had enjoyed the first two days of their second honeymoon to the fullest. Not to forget the nights too. On the third day Shiv told her that his friend's maternal grandmother lives in a village near Munnar. Anandi wished to visit with her. Shiv made the calls and the granny insisted that they stay with her for the day. It was suppose to be the 3rd and last day of their honeymoon as they had their flight from Cochin on Thursday. They checked out of the homestay and went to granny's place. It was a beautiful traditional home. The granny lived there alone. Shiv's friend had informed granny that they were newlyweds so she had called many village women to do certain rasams they did for a newlywed couple. Anandi enjoyed them very much and understood the meaning of them. She was careful not to make mistakes as she did not want to hurt anybodies sentiments. The lunch was being prepared. Anandi had seen Shiv gorge on the food items but she did not know how to make them. She learned from granny. Shiv ate the food and at once realized that his wife had made it.
That whole day Anandi and Shiv spent with granny listening to stories and visiting the family farms. She also took them to the local temple to seek blessings. At night there was a celebration for the couple. Traditional songs and dances were done. Anandi and Shiv too tried to but they could not do the steps. Anandi was with the ladies and the men took Shiv. He was given a white shirt and white lungi with golden border. Shiv knew how to wear a dhoti but he was scared about the lungi. Anandi was dressed by the ladies in the traditional Kerala sari. It was off white in color and had a golden border. It was simple but very beautiful. Her hair was tied in a braid and gajras were put. She looked very beautiful. In her traditional south Indian look she could be easily mistaken for one. Shiv came to their room first and saw that it was decorated for suhagraat. There were diya and jasmine flowers everywhere. The ladies came with Anandi till the door of their room. They left not only from there but also the house after some adult teasing of the bride. Anandi and Shiv were all alone in the house. It was one more blissful night for Anandi and Shiv. The next morning after breakfast they took leave from granny and all the villagers.
It was an experience they relived for days after they got back home. They would remember the honeymoon and the love for the rest of your life. Anandi and Shiv's Punar Vivah was a new beginning of their life of love and togetherness.
