"WOW..What an exciting match it was...Samrat you were superb..."

Such n many more compliments every person of Excel Basket ball team heard since they were declared as winner of the match...in their changing room...all of them laughed...as they shared the joy of celebrations for their victory...Samrat drank water from bottle while grinning listening others..n just then he saw Gunjan entering the room...everyone congratulated her..n she wished them same..he knew her smile is fake..n reaching him it faded...
He took her palm n pull near...
Samrat: What happened Sweetheart ?
However knew the reply,still asked her lovingly..she lifted gaze and looked at him worriedly asked him..
Gunjan: is it fine ?
Samrat: Gunjan I'm fine..
Gunjan sadly looked at his dressing around his arm..he smiles at her concern n just then Mayank joined them..
Mayank:Gunjan he is fine..it will heal soon in a day..Don't wory sweetie..
Samrat nods as agreed to Mayank..
Samrat:He is right Gunjan...Now relax n smile baby..
He tried to chear up n mayank left smiling at them as samrat tries to make her smile by teasing her..
Samrat: Baby be happy na..
Samrat requested her sweetly..Gunjan smiles as loved how he held her from waist close to him ...
Gunjan: I m happy Sam...it is not hurting na are you sure ?
Samrat smiles at her...n dn think to tease her..
Samrat: umm..it is hurting a little..but i think i can feel better..
Gunjan:How? Should I bring pain killer for u Sam?
She asked quickly...samrat held her more closely to stop her from going..
Samrat:My Pain killer is in my arms..don't you know how will i feel better?
He raised his eyebrows asking her in teasing manner that she felt her cheeks reflecting red color..she looked around to find every one busy in celebrations..
Gunjan:Sam I can't kiss you here..everyone is here..
Samrat:But I can...
His comment made her eyes widen...and as his lips sealed her lips..n none of her resistance helped her to be free from his grip..she had to melt in his arm..and she enjoyed being kissed by him in his arms stayed like a doll...
"Congratulations Baby.."
He whispered as looked at her blushing face..and she turned to see others but to her surprise there was no one..she looked back n samrat winked at her..She glares him as got he kissed her because everyone had already left and now she wasn't ready to allow him to make fun of her...
He put his stuff in locker while laughing aloud irritating her more...
She made him turn..and samrat looked at her to get what she was about to be ...but all his thoughts faded as she kissed him...it was well received by him...as he put arms around her n then turned her around ...pinning against locker...they giggles as they hugged each other breaking kiss..
"Want to celebrate victory at my place ?"
Samrat ask her while leaving the locker room..She slides her arm in his arms..
"Hmm..I can think of it.."
Gunjan winked at him...and samrat smiles as knew she is going to pay back for some time now..

"It was a good party"
Gunjan commented as everyone had left after the party at samrat's place and she had decided to stay for cleaning...
Samrat smiles as saw her putting things on table...
"Yes someone was looking really beautiful.."
She gigles as samrat whisper in her ears while hugging from back n nuzzling in her hairs...
"liar.."
She turned in his arms n teased him ...looking at him..he glares her and she laughed as his arms lift her ...and she put arms around his neck..
"You are staying here..."
"But i don't have my clothes Sam.."
She had no objection of course for staying at his place..but she hadn't expect it from him..
"Do you think you will need them?"
She was totally taken back as heard from him..she was facing his back as he was searching in his wardrobe..n she was unable to read his expression...and as he turned..everything gets faint in front of her eyes..as he had threw white clothes on her face..
"SAMMM"
She shouted annoyingly as get he was messing with her..he laughed at her messy hairs..he landed on bed beside her...ruffling her hairs ..
"Sweetie don't shout please..."
Gunjan glares him..n pushed away his hands...he smiled as watched her sliently looking at white kurta n trouser..her silence let him know he would need to manfoy her..
He tried to held her hand while calling her from name..but she didnt react..so before she could get up to leave..he put arm around her waist n pushed her to laid her back on bed...she gasped for a moment..as looked above at his face...she was lost in him...his fingers creased her cheek..she came back in her senses..n move away her face not considering to forgive him...not taking her serious..he nuzzled in her hairs..and held her in arms...as made her turned at his side..she looked above at him..pushing away her hairs..his gaze made her shiver...as he kissed her forehead...she got shy as he pulls her near...he smiles lovingly staring at her face..he tugged her hairs at her back of ear..she looked at him...she didn't react..samrat creased in her face...to make up for the earlier teasing..she giggles as she put hands around his neck..squeezing it..n trying to threatening him to stop teasing her..he laughs along her..to control her wasn't a difficult task for him..as he held her wrists twisting them around her..he hugged her from back...n kissed her cheeks..calmed down her...she stares at him lovingly...samrat looked at her..trying to see why she was gazing so keenly..n he got his answer..as she slowly bent n capture his lips..she looked at him..he cupped her cheek..his thumb creased her cheeks...
their attention got diverted...as the phone rang..gunjan made depressing face..which compelled samrat to smile..he creased her hairs to let her know he will make up it for her..Samrat accepted the call..
"Hey mom Dad.."
Samrat gestured gunjan to be quiet..and as gunjan heard him ..her eyes shined with glint of naughtiness..she try to tease him as irritated him by messing up with hair..he just glared while managed to talk to his parents...She hugged him ...tried to get his attention by doing annoying things..Samrat held her arms as glared her this time bit seriously..n as she tried to protest ..samrat put hand on her mouth n shaked head in no...She make face..and dn nods in agreement..he warned her to behave n left...as he was about to get up to talk comfortably..she stoped him..held ears to make him agree to stay..he make a face not trying to melt but have to as she put head in his lap..and made him asure she will remain silent...
She stares at him lovingly..thinking about his charming smile..she loved the shine in his eyes...she adored his cute gesture of moving his fingers in hairs when tried to hide fact..she unknowingly held his hand n put under her face ...continued gazing at him..which drew his attention towards her...he found her so cute n innocent...calm...and silent...
but soon he was pulled back in reality..and he got up quickly..gunjan was totally surprised n about to open mouth to speak..he turned n gestured her to wait n also conveyed soory..she nods in okay...but got worried as saw him much serious speaking to his dad...he seemed much hesistant..she got confused n felt awkward to be in room..she searched something to show herself busy ..n she saw the clothes..gesturing him she went away to change her clothes..
As she was back..while closing buttons of kurta..she looked around and find him already in night suit standing near window...she walked to him..stand beside wall looked at him who seemed lost..
"Samrat..what happened?"
As she asked ...he remained silent ..there was silence for few minutes...she observed him...he seemed much serious...
"My dad knows you are staying here.."
"WHAT???"
She got shock..many questions arose in her mind..their relation had no seriousness that she could have understand the point of involvment of his parents or anybody...
Samreat looked at her..he had expected her to react like that..
"Don't judge him gunjan.."
His statment sounded more like an oder..gunjan wasn't ready to see him reacting..
"I am not judging him sam..How could he know that i am here and why should he know this??"
Gunjan was blank with answers..unlike to her samrat was calmed as like always...
"Had you noticed that person in jeep across the road?"
Samrat looking out of window asked gunjan..confused she looked out and saw the person..she had noticed him always at his place but never gave much attention..
"Yeah..but.."
Before she could question him,samrat replied looking at her waiting to see expected reaction..
"He is my dad's personal bodyguard sent for me here"
Gunjan was dead shocked as she never saw coming that from his side..
"What is he spying on you ??"
Before she could go on and being rude..samrat stoped her with his straight warning..
"Gunjan don't speak about my dad unless you know everything."
Gunjan looked at him...and feel guilty a bit...moved away gaze...silently..waiting for him to continue the conversation starting with explanation ..that could may have calm down..
"Gunjan.."
He called her..but she didn't responded n reacted except kept watching stars ignoring everything...
He left the room closing the door...
Gunjan first was totally unpleasantly surprised..but realizing it must have been something mean to him..considering he is so attached to his family..
She mentally smack herself acting being insensitive at that time..she tried to think of some good apology she could say..and ended up leaving the room..
Closing the door silently at her back..she saw him sitting at the table ...staring at the glass and bottle of water..she took deep breath..and walked upto him...as she seated in front of him grabing the bottle..he took back his hand n moving away the gaze..She poured down the water..
"I can listen if you want to say anything...and i really mean it..as your friend, Samrat"
Samrat looked at her..trying to figure out why she was doing that ? He pulled back as saw him pushing glass of water towards him..
"It's nothing.."
Samrat replied not meeting eyes to her..as drank the water..
"If it is not then why it is bothering you so much ?"
Gunjan encountred him..He ignored and got up to end up the conversation..
"Please gunjan..."
"No Samrat..I say Please..."
Samrat look at her as she got up holding his hand to stop him from running away..
"Please say it Samrat what you want to say..? When i said i can listen you as a friend than i really mean it.."
She looked at him waiting to reply him in yes but...
"Gunjan it's nothing..I m saying..."
"You are lying Sam i know..but what i don't know is why ? Why you are so reluctant to tell me ? not me as friend even ?"
Samrat cupped her cheek..
"Sweet heart it's not about you.. You don't have to..."
Gunjan placed palm on his hand on her cheek..
"I know It's about you..Don't you trust me?"
Samrat looks in her eyes...she genuinly wished to hear the answer about her question...
"I trust you...but..[He replied her...n than move away gaze..turned over..] .gunjan point is no one would understand...[Gunjan stares at his back as listened him and before you could say anything the next words made her stunned at her place]..and most of all and above you won't !"
Gunjan looked at him as he turned...he knew it would hurt her...but considering her , he was
right ... Samrat hated himself to see her like that..he walked to her..held her from shoulders..
"Listen Sweetie..I didn't m..."
"You mean it Samrat I know..[Samrat bit his lips in guilt n move away gaze unable to meet her eyes..] "
"I am..[Samrat tried to apologies but her voice didn't let him..]
"Don't sam...don't say soory...[Gunjan steps back..samrat looks at her as saw her gathering up herself..].You might have said...truth..it's just...I somewhere..somehow...among all of them...had expected...you to understand...[her voice shaked little..he tried to take step towards her..but he felt himself so weak to do so..as she continued..].well what can we do? We sometimes expect a lot which we shouldn't have..right?..[she tried hard to sound normal]I just had hope might be..you could have tried me.."
Seeing her disappointed...he cursed the moment when it all started...
"Gunjan "
She closed eyes to gather herself before turing to him..with a forced smile pasted on face
"Yea Sam.."
She moved away gaze as realized she can't hide her emotions at least from him..
"you want to hear in bed or should we sit here in living room?"
Samrat asked her with a light smile as held her from shoulder...she smiles back at him..genuinly adoring..how he didn't mention her..to don't drag her emotional side in limelight..not when it was only him..
Finding her silent..he took decision for them..as he dragged her along him ...made her sit on a couch..while lightning the fire place to make the temperature normal..he looked back and found gunjan sitting on carpet ..placing head on couch..watching him..he smiles as sat next to her..ruffling her hairs.
"You are looking cute.."
Gunjan giggles as heard him..and then moved near to him ..placing head on his arm..
"I never have thought we would have such emotional conversation.."
Samrat laughs along her as he kissed her hairs..
"I never knew i would see anyone apart from my family caring about me...so much that you are here just want to listen from me what bothered me so much some time early..when you would have plan to watch a movie,laugh and enjoy .."
Gunjan smiles as he looked at her..genuinely appreciating her gesture ..
"So what? i think it is more fun to know about you boyfriend rather knowing about anyone's else.."
Samrat first try to get what she meant..and both cracked up together..and their head end up touching..as they relax in each other arms..
"Gunjan my family have landlord background.."
Samrat's statement made gunjan shock n confuse..
"You mean feudalism ? still exists in this century ?"
Samrat nods..
"Yea feudalism..may be or may be not..but definitely it haven't end without leaving impact on our lives."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well because generation after generation there had been many fights between my grandfather's...and also with rest of feduals..so even when now they are no more alive still ...my dad thinks we are not safe...he lives every day in fear..that any day may be anyone would come back from his past ..haunting him..his family...for sake of lost blood..or property...mom tries every day to make him feel fearless ...we feel he is getting better..but no..it's just that he gets better in hiding from us..he loves us...thats why he was always against me to come here ...in mumbai living by all myself..but i wanted to have a life that i could be proud of..like my dad have..a better n safe future for him n his family...it's never easy to have everything in your life..i learnt from him...i know what i mean to him..i mean him world gunjan..thats why whatever he thinks is better for him..i let him do..he never mentioned about the body gaurd..but i always knew..since the second i had being away from dad..that have become my shadow..today when he learnt that you were staying here...he didn't question me gunjan..but i felt so guilty of hiding the fact of being with you from him..when i always had mention to him..becuase he have trust issues..he is protective for me...he had always been fair to me..but this time..."
"why didn't you tell him about us yet sam?"
Gunjan question him..samrat looked at him..
"Because i dont know gunjan what kind of relationship we actually share? where we are? where our relation will go? what we owe to each other?why even we are together? i have no answers...i just know one thing.."
Gunjan completes him..
"That We being together mean something..or at least could???"
He stares at her and then leans on her face..as kissed softly..
"I was wrong.. No one else can understand it better than you.."
Gunjan smiles along him..
"Thanks for trusting me with this.."
Gunjan hugged him lovingly..
"When wil you let me thank for the same thing?"
Gunjan stopped smiling as heard him..he made her look at him..she sighed...knowing it would mean to him a lot..
"Sam..you are lucky..to have some thing to whom you could own..you could say that yes they are mine...who can watch your back..who cares for you..for whom you matters..or for you who matters..but in my life..i can't say .. i don't own anyone.. i can't have anyone watching my back..or who could be beside me.. ..some time i even wish i would have not even met Mayank..i m nothing more a pain in his life...could it be worst than this any more? But since when i have stoped thinking..feeling..realizing..i feel much alive..much happier..thats it..thats me..."
"No it's not you.."
Samrat wasn't expecting her to be so much harsh towards herself even..Samrat shake head in negative..She smiles with sarcasm..
"Please sam i don't even wana meet myself..What i was..what i am ...or what i could be..there is only two words ..Horrible and Terrible.."
She lowered her gaze ..not able to meet eyes with him..samrat made her look at him as question her..
"and then who is that girl who cares for me?"
"I don't care for you coz of you.. "
Gunjan said without any emotion..Samrat stares at her ...and then smile helplessly..
"Leave it...i stopped you coz i wanted to make you feel happy not sad.."
Gunjan smiles lovingly as he lifted her..and moved in the room..
Lying in his arms..she forget everything..as he told her randomly his childhood stories that made her laugh..n tease him...He loved her gigles echoing in the silence..
She stopped laughing as saw him staring at her..she felt perplexed for a moment at his gaze..and then she smiles naughtily as saw his hand approching her..she pushed him back as threw pillow on him n got up ..but before she could run away..samrat's arm held her...gunjan tried to be free by throwing pillows on him...their giggles..screams ...lightened up the silence of night...at last gunjan have to give up ...he pushed her on bed..as laid along her..before she could speak up..samrat stopped her as put hand on her lips...she stares at him..as he nods negatively...his hand creased down her face...she opened eyes once again..seeing him making face she smiled...n turned to his side lovingly winking a him..holding his arm..put along her cheek...he smiles lovingly at her as laid along her creased her hairs..kissed her forehead...as saw her eyes still open he kissed them at one by one..after that she didn't open her eyes..just felt the warmth of blanket...and his arms around her..she let the peace come to her...

getting up in his arms..in his bed...bring a smile on her face..but what made the morning special was his stare...it was unbelievable for her...as he cupped her face..and kissed her cheek wishing her morning..she was too surprised to react...he let her to believe ...he asked her to get fresh..so they could have breakfast together..
After getting refreshed..she exits room..and saw samrat making breakfast..She smiles happily..as watched him...Samrat looks at her..and winked..
Gunjan passed a smile to him..as walked upto him..asked if she can help any..he asked her to go and wait as he almost done with preparation...gunjan instead of going..hugged him n kissed his cheek..n mumbled thank you..samrat looked at her..stares for a moment..n then smiles kissed her forhead..gunjan smiles lovingly at him...
While eating breakfast..she teased him..by making face and showing she didn't like the breakfast..samrat as tasted n find it fine..glares her..she make a soory face.. and tried to make up..by hugging him..he didn't melt..but then she offered him a bite..he couldn't refuse..as ate from her hand..she loved being around him..
After breakfast..samrat was trying to shape up his room.but gunjan keeps messing up with things..samrat felt like dealing with a baby..as she made him running behind her by taking his books or clothes...teasing him..iritating him..excitingly shouting his name..while showing him things which she used to grab...samrat didn't get irritate..as the smile on her face...was so beautiful that he just wondered if people find her smiling this way anyone could be in love with her...LOVE?? the word stuck his mind...
he was brought out of thoughts as saw her along his guitar..his eyes widened..
"Gunjan don't do anything to my guitar.. You can have anything but please give me my guitar back.."
Gunjan confusingly looked at him as saw him panicing..
"Samrat relax I am not going to break it..promise.."
Samrat gave her a look at her sarcasm..and ignoring her moved to put his books at it's place..and just then he heard a really annoying voice..he turned making an annoying face..and find gunjan trying to play it..he stopped smiling but couldn't help looking at her..trying to handle guitar...which seemed heavy to her...he smilingly walked upto her...gazed at her face as came at her back..she was clueless as was busy to play any meaningful sound..and just then she felt her breaths stopped as his arms embraced her from back..she looked at him..he wasn't looking at him..as his hand creased her hand..she closed eyes..as inhaled his scent..she gasped at heard the meaningful voice...his fingers grabbing her fingers..playing guitar..she opened eyes and looked at him...n this time he was looking at her..the smile on his face..made her move gaze...her cheeks..were burning..she thought to be away from him so could stop herself feeling those emotions she was going through..but was unable to move...he kissed her hairs to get her attention...as she looked at her..he asked her to enjoy the music...she realxed a bit...as minutes passed..and soon she started smiling like before..as samrat made her learn the guitar a bit..
Later she sat in front of him and asked to play a favorite tone...she was so lost in him..that she didn't realize when he ended..and seated in front of her..she was staring at him..he flicked her nose to pull her back from thoughts..
"You plays magical sam.."
Samrat looks at her with amazment..
"Gunjan you don't need to compliment if you don't like.."
Gunjan glares him
"Sam I m serious..It was beautiful.."
Samrat smiles and smiled at her..as stared at her..placing palm under his chin..
"As you say darling.."
Gunjan smiles lightly
"Sam you didn't tell why you came to mumbai ? I mean.."
"for my passion .."
Samrat smiles widely as think of his dream...Gunjan stares at him..
"Passion??"
"My music.. I just want to try once in music industry thats why i convinced dad to let me come..."
Gunjan smiles seeing him smiling heartily..
"No one have hear you yet..they don't know what they are missing out..."
Samrat stares at her..as she puts arms on his shoulder and said with all faith...he wasn't able to answer her...as she hugged him silently..

Sitting in their favorite place in cafeteria whole gang was chilling out after class..waiting for their orders..they teased each other..laughing screaming...just enjoying the moment..forgetting about anything ...each one of them...just then there was an announcement for students to assemble in hall.. all made worse face...as walked towards the hall..
The announcement made students happy ..the announcement was of a music compeition in which excel college was taking part..in which the students winning the compeition could have a chance to release their album or song nation wide with help of organizer's of the compietion..
The news was like a step towards his dream...it was unbelieveable for him..he didn't speak to anyone ..even not with gunjan..and gunjan didn't show any excitement or anything related to announcement..as they all get back in cafeteria..giving their views on the announcement..before samrat 's turn could come ..he excused himself n left...mayank raised eyebrows asked gunjan..she assure him they are fine...
Later gunjan searched for samrat..she at last found him at lonely area of college..the garden...she placed hand on his shoulder..
"Sam where were you ? i was searching..."
Her words in half way when samrat lifted her up..and took rounds..shouting her name in hapines..
"Gunjan I m soo soo happy you can't believe.."
Gunjan laughed along him as he made her stand..she ruffled his hairs..
"I know Sam you should be happy.."
"It's Just WOW..Gunjan..now i can finally at least try..right?"
"Yes .I m so excited even Dad was happy when i told him.."
Gunjan smiles as saw him so excited n noded..they walked towards parking area..as samrat continues about his plan to her..how he think he should do or how should not...

The compeition hype reached at its peak...when the finals come near..Gunjan was as excited as samrat was for his final venture...even when the final day got passed...samrat achieved what he always dreamt..his first break...he won along other finalists..and he got the opportuinty to display his work in front of rest of the world...
But...he gave up...on his dream...
He said no for the offer he was given...
Gunjan was totally clueless when that news came to her...she was shocked totally when she learned it is true..he said no..he hadn't talk to her about it...
She tried to contact him..but wasn't able to be in touch...and just then the thought crossed her mind...and she closed eyes in despair...in disappointment..she prayed her fears shouldn't come true..
Same thing could have happen if he would have learn the truth that the whole compeition was made to arrange ...just for him...by her...
As learning he has such great talent..and desire to live his dream...she decided to pave the way indirectly smooth for him..knowing him she knew he never would take her any favour..so she asked princi to arrange such an event..she contacted her dad's friends who had music company...she used all her resources to conect all the dots..so he wouldn't get ever..
She had knew him so well..yet what she didn't learn..was that he was Samrat Shergill..who never believed on co-incidence...on hearing the compeition he purposely had behaved like he have no doubts of her being in this plan..but he made sure to listen truth from princi...n since then he was unable to forget what gunjan had done..he tried to let it go..but it was so hard for him..that he just did what he think of to be free from this favor...even when he had to step back from his dream..
Gunjan tried at his home but no answer...she searched him in college madly...but was totally clueless about his presence...and just then she found him..she shouted his name to stop him..
"Sammm...Samrat..."
Samrat closed eyes in despair..that girl just never cared about anything..samrat tried to ignore the gazez that were now on both..
"What is Gunjan?"
"Sam please let me give one chance to explain.."
Gunjan tried to make him agree on listening her..but just then they over heard a convo that was going on in the room outside of which both were standing..
"Hey do you know samrat won that competion only coz of gunjan.."
"It was obvious he was her boyfriend..and she can make it possible "
Samrat looked at gunjan n gunjan had no answers of all the questions in his eyes...he turned to go but gunjan held him from arm...even when her heart was jumping with fear..
"Gunjan don't create any more scene...insult i am facing now is enough for me.."
Gunjan sighed as saw him moving away..she closed eyes in despair..how much she wish to destroy everything around her...
