Now that Sanzy's jhalak is back, so am I.

As you girls have pointed out, the promo was mindblowing. I really hope the story is as intense as the promo itself. I so wanted something much more than an arrogant man falling for a small town girl. And this promo has just fulfilled my wishes. The most awesome part is that both male and emale leads are equally important!

I have three questions though that you should answer:

1. Dont kill me, but don't you think Ashsih is a bit short for Sanaya?! He's obviously not shorter than Sanaya but since Sanaya's a tall girl, a 6 feet guy would be the best complement. Look wise, Ashish is undoubtedly handsome. And I actually like his acting too cuz I have seen him here and there. However, if Ashish has the perfect looks for the character than obviously height becomes a worthless factor. The problem is that after Farhan Khan's casting in ChanChan, I have my doubts about screen tests!

2. The promo is very very promising but I don't have much faith in the production house. Once upon a time I tried to take some interest in their currently popular show Madhubaala but it didn't work. MB too started with a grand opening but it ended up with unfathomable helter-skelter tracks just like IPKKND. I wonder if anyone else shares this fear with me?

3. I read something about another supposedly grand show starting on colors with Amrita Rao's sister as the lead. Do you think it will give RR a tough competition?

4. What does Rang Rasiya mean?! Is it some novel? I tried google but I only got info about a movie called Rang Rasiya released in 1998.

5. WHEN is BigBoss ending? Please say tomorrow!

🤣 Sorry I don't mean to laugh but that was funny!

1) I'm totally fine with Ashish being short (how short is he btw?) I'm sure they'll use some sort of camera techniques to work around that but from what I saw, he wasn't that short. They look incredible good together and he's intensely HOT which is all that matters to me.

2. That fear takes over me when any show starts because this is Indian tv and here, that situation is typical. A show starts off with much hype but ends terribly. DMG, MJHT, IPK, MB, etc. All we can do is hope they do well consistently and come up with fresh storylines as opposed to cliched ones.

3. If they write the story well, no show could compete. But competition is bound to happen and so far, ST's shows have been doing really well

4. Same question. Something to do with colors? lol 😆

5. Big Boss ends mid-December :)

heheh let me answer
1. I was not in pro-Ashish group initially simply based on the fact that I had not heard of him till then! But now after seeing him, hearing lots of praises from fellow Saa fans as well as Ashish fans I am sold out! And the promo sealed the deal! I like him and now shipping the jodi!
And btw if he is short he can do what Aamir does and wear high heeled shoes! 😆

2. Well as the bane of ur life on this topic 😛
If its going to be like IPK I have no problems...with all of its messes i love it! soo... And as long as it gains good TRPs and sticks around a good 3 years or more I am willing to put up with all the idiocracies inherent in Indian TV serials just to see that angelic face every night! ❤️

3. Nope cz very small factor.. Do u know how and when the TRPs are counted? Its counted at the 1st 2 mins of the show.. Sooo... as Beintehaa is at 9.00-9.30 anyone who watches it and gets delayed to change the channel or switch off the TV is going to give TRPs to Rang Rasiya.. So the more people watches it the better it is for RR! 😆
PS : I am planning to watch that too..I ❤️ Amrita! gosh watching her sister, her face, her voice was sooo like Amrita!
YET I didn't find the promo very interesting.. compared to RR promo it was quite normal.. no biggie as in..
And I have a vested interest in hoping it works cz i support every serial at 9.00 Pm that is against the crap fest DABH 😈

There was a tentative launch date for RR in an article. It was Jan. 6th. And Big Boss was to end on Dec. 26th. Not sure how true that is but read it in one of the articles.

Hello and agree the promo is really good.

1. So far I really like Ashish for this role. He has that certain rustic and hard look needed for this part and he his handsome in uniform. I have generally heard good things about his acting and he is good in the promo. An actor who looks the part he is playing and acts well is most needed for any show and then height is least of the problems, though he is not very short either.

2. Most Indian daily shows suffer this problem and it is difficult for CV's not to feel the pressure of TRPs and producing a twenty minute episode daily. Writing and creativity suffers after a point under this stress. This thought is definately there in my mind and I know even the best of shows dragged and meandered with senseless tracks, but I hope and wish that for as long as possible and for however much as possible CVs are able to keep their vision and deliver amazing episodes which keep us entertained and gets big TRPs too.

There was a talk of this show having a season's format on threads, let's see if that happens and how well it works.

3. RR already has tough competition from shows in it's slot, so I do not see the 9 pm show of Colors conficting with it. 9:30 by itself is a competitive slot and RR has to find it's audience.

4. Rang Rasiya means colours of passion.

5. Last I read BB ends Dec 28th.

Hi Sonya, it's nice to see you back here. Happy New Year (11 days late). As for your questions-
1. Ashish isn't short. I read somewhere he is 6 feet tall. and Sanaya is 5'6". So he can't look shorter even if she wears heels, which she won't given the rustic/rural setting.
2. That's the ultimate fate of almost all Indian shows. Unless they preplan and decide not to give in to TRP pressure.
3. I don't want to offend anyone, but the promo for the show was very bland. Not to mention quite similiar to the promo for QH . If anything can give RR a run for its money , it will be QH.
4. Rangrasiya is the one who colours your life with love or passion , blah blah. It's quite ironical for this show cos the impression you get from the promo is that he shot her groom,so he is the one who took away all the colours of her life.
5. In December. The earliest date fro the show is 30 th dec.

I will comment on your first question only---

No doubt, Ashish is not very tall. But he is a good actor and the role suited him (so far we can see in the promo or the first look). When two good actors work together and you enjoy seeing their chemistry, you wouldn't even notice whether he is tall or short, black or white!

And abot your experience with Chhanchhan, Farhan Khan was a total new comer. But Ashish has done a good number of shows with different types of characters. He is a proven actor!

This is Saurabh Tiwari and he has done an incredible job with his leads thus far. Height and all don't matter, he is a good actor and you catch his previous show to see that. He emotes pretty well and is good in such types of roles. He did a great job in the intense promo

Competition and all is not really my worry because if everyone in the show - from the cast, to the writers, directors, etc. - do their jobs 100%, the show should be fine. Every one goes through ups and downs but hopefully, they execute it well.

Forget Farhan, he was a nightmare. Actors who have had zero experience in front of the camera do a better job than him and he's supposed to be a theatre one!
