At the party(Shirish and Rushali's home)

Rushali and Shirish are welcoming the guests to the party. One of the guests say, we don't see the birthday boy? Rushali says he is coming, he is getting ready. Rushali tells Shirish that I will get him. In another area of the party, there is a manager telling 3 waiters (Soham is one of them) that they will have to replace the old waiters. The manager says don't forget that this is a high profile party, everyone here is educated and sophisticated, this is why you will have to be respectful with them. And yes, the most important thing, you guys are not allowed to leave the party area. Keep this in mind. Back at the party hall, Soham is bringing a tray which has cups of drinks. He stops and he is looking very closely at something. The other waiter comes with his tray and says to Soham what happened, what are you looking at? Soham says, look at this place, it is so fancy. The other waiter says you are so surprised only at seeing this? There is much more to see up ahead and yes don't keep looking around like this or else we could be caught, and they will take us out of the job, come on. Soham starts serving drinks to the guests. After Soham serves the drinks, he stands in a corner and says quietly to himself, this place is full of jewelry all over. Soham smiles and says it looks I have come into a jewelry shop. I will have a lot of fun taking all of this.

Naren's room

Naren is in his room. Rushali comes in. Naren is playing with his phone. Rushali hugs and kisses Naren and says Happy Birthday once again my son. Naren says thank you. Rushali has a gift for Naren and says this gift had not come this morning so I could not give it to you, here it is. The gift is a fancy bracelet and Rushali puts it on him. Rushali says ok give me your phone. Naren looks at his expensive bracelet and says gold, diamond studs, platinum. This must have been expensive. Rushali says a little. Mr. Karmarkar, why haven't you gotten ready yet? I got out a lot of clothes for you, which one do you want to wear? The guests are waiting for you. Naren says no mom I don't want to come to this party. Parties are very boring. All you do is just stand there and smile. Rushali says Naren. At the party hall

Ankita is coming in the house. She walks in slowly and Arjun sees her. Arjun says Ankita. Ankita says hello sir, Happy Diwali sir. Arjun says Happy Diwali to you. Ankita is walking in the hall and Rushali sees her. Rushali says Ankita. Ankita says hello maam, maam Happy Diwali. Rushali smiles and says Happy Diwali to you too. Ankita says maam this is a very good party. Rushali says thank you. Ankita says maam tell me what work you want me to do. Rushali says no, you are our guest, we will not have you work but please just do one small favor. I am busy with the guests here, can you go and see if Naren is ready or not? If he is ready then bring him down, please. Ankita looks a little anxious but she says ok maam. Ankita is slowly walking up the stairs.

Naren's room

Naren is in his room. He is sitting down on his bed. Ankita walks in the room and says hello sir. Naren says I don't want to talk to you. Ankita says why? Naren says because you did not wish me. Ankita says Happy Diwali sir. Naren says Happy Birthday. Ankita says sir Happy Diwali. Naren says Happy Birthday. Ankita says sir it is Diwali. Naren says it is a birthday. Ankita says sir is Diwali. Naren says it is a birthday! Rushali comes in the room and says Naren come on now, hurry up. The guests are waiting. It is your birthday party and you are not there? Come on down now, hurry up. Ankita says sir, please sir, sir Happy Birthday. Naren says finally, you finally wished me, it feels a little better. Ankita says sir, I thought you were joking. Naren says joking, about my birthday? Am I crazy? Ankita says no. Naren says so if I am normal then why would I joke about it? Ankita says sorry sir. Naren holds out his hand and says give it to me. Ankita goes and brings a cactus plant from his table and holds it out in front of Naren and says Happy Birthday sir. Rushali and Naren smile. Ankita says I know you like plants a lot, I'm so sorry sir I could not bring you another gift as I didn't know it was your birthday. Naren says but you know what, this is my best birthday gift. Thank you, thank you so much Ahana. Ankita says shall we go down now? Naren nods his head. Rushali leaves. Ankita asks Naren if she should leave the cactus plant in the room and Naren says no, this will come with me. I will protect it, this is my best gift. Let's go, come. Ankita says yeah sir. Ankita and Naren smile.

At the party hall

Ankita and Naren come downstairs. Naren has his cactus plant with him. Rushali and Shirish look at this. Ankita looks a little uneasy. One of the guests come to Naren and say Happy Birthday and Happy Diwali. She gives Naren a gift. Naren thanks her and asks her how she is. The guest says she is fine and she will be back. The guest leaves from there. Naren is showing his cactus plant gift to the guests. Soham sees Naren and looks at him and thinks to himself, what does this rich person eat that makes him look so good. Soham is walking past, he is near Ankita but he doesn't see her. Ankita doesn't see him either. A guest asks Soham to bring some snacks. Soham smiles and nods his head and leaves. Purvi is coming into the party hall with a bouquet of flowers. Arjun sees Purvi. Purvi looks at Arjun briefly and looks away. Arjun is talking to 2 guests and he excuses himself. Arjun goes to Purvi and says Happy Diwali. Purvi says Happy Diwali. Purvi walks over to Raunaq, Rushali and Shirish. She wishes Rushali a Happy Diwali and gives her the bouquet of flowers. Rushali says thank you and Purvi also wishes Shirish Happy Diwali. Shirish says Happy Diwali to you too. Purvi leaves and Arjun is looking a little anxious. Raunaq says mom, who was this? Rushali says Purvi Deshmukh, we signed a deal with the Canada company of Industries and she is the owner of the company. She's also Arjun's ex-wife by the way. Raunaq thinks to himself, Arjun's ex-wife, now that's interesting. Purvi is standing near Soham, Soham can see Purvi's back as her back is toward him. Purvi turns around and looks at Soham but Soham had turned around and was talking to someone. Purvi looks away. None of them had really seen each other.

At the party hall

Raunaq and a man are sitting down at a table. The man asks Raunaq if he is sure that this will happen. Raunaq says I am sure that this will happen and if you don't believe me then just do exactly as I tell you to. The man says like what? Raunaq says go to my bro and talk to him and ask him what a business is and then see the drama. He has put the whole party on his head and you have seen part of his craziness. It is his birthday party and he was not ready to attend it and when he came, he came with that cactus. Naren is in a corner with Ankita holding his cactus. Raunaq and the man look at Naren and Raunaq says and look he is roaming around with that cactus and he has not separated himself from the cactus for one second. And even after seeing all of this you want proof that he is crazy. If you do, then go and talk to him, it will be a big drama. And you know what, I don't want to sign a deal with someone who is crazy. It is worth crores and you know at the end of the day it's not a crazy business right? The man says I think you are right. Raunaq says thank you. The man gets up and leaves. Raunaq smiles.

At the party hall

Naren and Ankita are in a corner of the hall. Naren is saying to Ankita, this is the most beautiful gift ever. Ankita smiles. The man comes over to them and says to Naren excuse me Mr. Naren, may we talk for a little bit? It's business related. Raunaq is smiling from the table. Naren says no not now I'm busy please. The man says sir it's business related. Naren says sir what I am doing now is very important. So please try and understand, I don't wish to talk about business right now. The man says but sir it's really. Ankita says to Naren, sir, I think you should talk to him. We can talk anytime. Naren says ok. The man asks Naren if he has thought about anything for the business related strategy. Naren says there is no strategy, just one line. It connects hearts. Ankita smiles and the man says that they were going to sell their best product for 2,000 rupees, we think it could be bad for us. Naren says no I have this sorted, our quarterly profit is going to be about 12.5 % which is somewhere around 2,000 crores and second quarter which is 14% which is 2 thousand crores. Don't worry I have everything sorted and your company will make a lot of profit with us. The man says nice, brilliant, thank you. Thank you so much. The man and Naren shake hands.

At the party hall

Purvi is standing in the hall. Arjun comes out and he sees her. Purvi and Arjun look at each other for a second. Ankita comes over to Purvi and says hello maam, maam, Happy Diwali. Purvi looks at Ankita but doesn't say anything. Ankita says Purvi maam, Happy Diwali. Purvi says Happy Diwali. Ankita says ok maam, and she leaves. Purvi is standing there blankly and she leaves from there. Arjun is standing in the corner. A guest is talking to her friend and she says to her, Mrs. Bhago do you know something? Today Rushali gave Naren a bracelet, as a birthday gift. Mrs. Bhago says it's ok, what's the big deal? I also gave my son an expensive birthday gift. The other guest says you don't understand Mrs. Bhago, this is not just any ordinary bracelet, it is a 1 and a quarter crores bracelet. Soham comes there and he hears this. Soham thinks to himself, 1.25 crore rupees, I could live my whole life like this and too a very rich life. Soham walks over behind Naren and sees him with his cactus plant. Soham is about to offer Naren a drink but Naren doesn't see him and he walks away. Soham thinks to himself, I don't know how he could wear this, but he can't escape from me now. Soham smiles. Raunaq is sitting down on a chair and he thinks to himself, this is my house, my party, and I'm not having any fun, how will I have fun? Arjun is at the office and Naren is here at home, both of them together have ruined my reputation in the family. Raunaq's friend comes over to Raunaq and says hey Raunaq, who is this pretty lady? Raunaq's friend points to Purvi who is talking to a guest. Raunaq says she is Arjun's ex-wife. Raunaq's friend says ex-wife, she is so pretty so why did Arjun leave her? Raunaq says she suspected that Arjun was cheating on her.

At the party hall

Raunaq says I will have some fun now. Raunaq's friend says what kind of fun? Raunaq says you just wait and watch. Raunaq goes to Purvi and the guest and he says excuse me. The guest leaves and Raunaq says to Purvi, Hi, I'm Raunaq. Purvi says hi to Raunaq shakes hands with Purvi. Raunaq asks, can I take you for a dance? Purvi says no, I don't know how to dance. Raunaq says oh come on, we are business partners now, our companies signed a deal together. I think this calls for a celebration, we should dance. Purvi accepts and Raunaq and Purvi hold hands. Raunaq starts dancing with Purvi. Arjun is there and Raunaq smiles evilly at Arjun. Purvi is not looking too happy and Arjun is looking very mad. Ankita says to Naren, Naren sir, I will leave now. Sir one second. Ankita says Happy Birthday. Naren puts his hand out and Ankita shakes his hand and Naren says Happy Diwali. Ankita says Happy Birthday. Naren says Happy Diwali. Ankita says sir, Happy Birthday. Naren says Happy Diwali. Ankita smiles and says Happy Diwali. Ankita is about to leave and Naren grabs her hand says today is my birthday and Diwali and I have a return gift. Naren gives Ankita a cactus thorn as a gift. Ankita smiles and takes the gift and says Happy Diwali and Happy Birthday sir. Naren smiles and says thank you. Ankita says bye sir, I will leave now. Ankita leaves. Rushali hears all this and she smiles. Naren looks at his cactus plant and says Happy Diwali.

Precap: Raunaq is somewhere outside with Purvi and he is grabbing her and abusing her. Purvi is trying to let go but Raunaq keeps abusing her. Arjun sees this and he is fuming. Arjun goes and grabs Raunaq and beats him up. Raunaq falls down on the ground. When Raunaq gets back up, Arjun continues to beat him up further and he keeps hitting him when Raunaq is on the ground. Purvi is trying to stop Arjun.
