I found today's episode quite boring as the entire episode was an advertisement for Karan Kapoor/ Hum Tum!!!
Hospital - The episode starts with billo papaji being taken to the hospital.
GM - Raj and Armaan are laughing over a hum-tum joke.
Back in the hospital - Bebe tells nandu to call up jassi and tell her about papji. Jassi tells him that she is very busy and will be coming home soon. Nandi says that that's what I'm trying to tell you – nobody's home. Jassi tells him that she's got a duplicate key and hangs up 😕.
Mallika's house – Aryan is also reading hum-tum jokes. I prefer RK Laxman's cartoons anyday 😉. Anyway, Mallika wants some tips from Aryan for overseas expansion. Aryan is still upset that the GM takeover bid failed otherwise he would have taken GM to new heights (his favourite dialogue 😆).
Hospital – bebe takes the phone from nandu and calls up jassi. Jassi asks her where are they and how much fun are they having? Bebe is about to tell her about billo. Just then billo comes around so she doesn't tell her anything and rushes to his side. The doctor checks his reports and tells them that it was a mild angina attack and he can now go home.
Walia house – jassi is looking at papaji's report and is very upset that no one informed her. She then tells papji that he has to promise her 2 things – one, that he will never again hide anything from her and two that he will never worry about a job again. She tells him that she loves working – the more work, the better and that she is happy in GM.😃
Next morning – jassi is very upset with KK's cartoon strip and tells HM on the phone that she will give it off to him. Billo papaji is very amused at his queen Victoria's anger. Jassi leaves home for GM in a huff.
GM – our Jhansi ki rani is still angry and asks Armaan whether all men think like KK. And our hypocrite Armaan Suri says – no no, not at all jassi. In fact from tomorrow I will stop getting this newspaper for GM. Jassi says that that won't be necessary as I will give it off to him. Armaan Sir then adds -"jassi, I am with you.' Jassi flashes him a big bracey smile. Wonder if that grin was also supposed to be an advertisement 😕 – kya pata, aaj ke episode mein hum-tum ko promote kar rahe the, kal ke episode mein shayad braces ko promote karein!!!😆
GM reception – Maria and Nazleen are making a scrap book of hum-tum jokes. They plan to send it to KK for his autograph. Some more verbal dhishum-dhishum between GM gang, with jassi and mythili on one side and the rest on the other. Just then Mallika arrives and scolds them for not working.
Pari's room - Mallika tells Armaan that she wants to look at Jassi's overseas plan. Armaan tells her that she needn't wait for jassi and can make one herself. Then he adds that he has no interest in discussing all this in front of Pari whose ears are working overtime as usual, and walks away. Mallika also snubs Pari and walks away. Pari says "hunh!!! I also have loads to do," and starts reading the humtum joke😆 – you too Pari!!! 😆She starts singing – humtum ek kamre mein bannd ho aur hamari shaadi ho jaye. Tum meri aawaaz sunn raho ho na Karan?🤣
A studio - An artist is shown sketching something on a canvas. They don't zoom in on the canvas – the actor's drawing must be as bad as mine.😆 He then opens a parcel – it is Maria's scrapbook. He autographs it. Then his computer starts beeping – he's got mail. An adorable cartoon of jassi comes up on the screen.😳 The camera now zooms in on the artist. Surprise surprise!!! It's none other than KK aka Saif Ali Khan!!! Even my doggie would have guessed that by now!!!😆
There's a joke for KK from jassi – it says that Hum goes to get his eyes checked and it turns out that he needs a huge pair of glasses to make out the difference between man and woman. "What does this Jasmeet Walia think of herself? It's she not me who needs to get her eyes checked," KK fumes.
