I am positive their ego got the better of them..because they did not even need to do a full market research to understand that people were unhappy with ZoYaan and Tanveer...but they went ahead with it...the loyalists stayed through the Tanveer nonsense...but ZoYaan was below the belt...Gul said that the real story will start before ZoYaan and she was pretty smug about dumbing Asad down and how we don't want high class realism, effectively questioning our intelligence in the process...Sorry Gita, I find this attitude very unfriendly...and when her track and so called real story did not work, they came up with 'Mohabbat ki jeet' without any explanation whatsoever of putting us through that torture

As for me I watch qh to unwind after a days work and the only serial that I watch regularly. So far I liked what I saw. For me tanveer saga was unbearable, I had no issues with zoyaan but yes they could ve put a little more thought.

@red - it's only the Internet audience that looks for realism, the trp audience don't. My mom watches saathiya with as much devotion as I watch qh. I watched a few episodes and really started appreciating qh more. Don't take guls interviews personally.
