Hello Di! :))
Loved reading your take on the epi tdy. Came in here and BOOM! with all the contrasting opinions but nevertheless, it's interesting to read people's opinions and thoughts.
Though I haven't watched the episode yet, can't gauge how bad is bad but I saw the precap - don't ask me why precap cos that seem to be the only portion uploaded in daliymotion.
Zoya as always been Zoya - We don't see this much OTT behaviour previously because she always knew at the back of her mind that she's was a guest. Now, we see this OTT-ness because of the fact that she's finally found a home that she can call her own. Don't we all at some point of time do some sillyness & craziness at home just because it's our own house? Her Aapi & Jeeju found her a home with them but the chord that ties to it is probably different. They brought her up with all the love in the world but the love she craves for is something to call her own - she found that in Asad and his home. And this OTT-ness today, I feel is not because she wants Asad to change his ways for her but for him to let loose the seriousness for a while, something that he has always held on to that reduces the smile on his face. And that's something she wants to see - Him smiling and that's all that matters to her - so, no matter how crazy and silly she gets as long as she can see him smile, it makes her happy.
Ok this thoughts were purely on written updates; but I understand that as viewers, the execution of the OTT-ness and concept may have been riduculous but you know, sometimes, just using the remote makes more sense.
And sometimes, I do wish that they would make Zoya a little more matured in the way she handled things but probably that would only happen when she realises what happened with her mom and how an evil baddie her father is.

Bheegi, I always thought we change for the better. And changes cannot be forced. The guy was obviously looking uncomfortable, we could see it.
So could the girl who loves him and knows him best not see it?

The lack of growth in her own character along with the love story is another sore point.

Problem is with the dismal writing. I read a post about letting him live his childhood or helping his get over his OCD. I am going to have to dig it up to respond there, but Zoe is not a psychologist. And even if she is, she needs to know the root cause before she can fix the problem. There is absolutely no attempt at getting to know why he is that way.

And childhood for Asad stopped at 9 not, 3. I have not seen a lot of 19/10 year olds getting pleasure out of throwing food and clothes around. I wish they would for once behave age appropriate.

I did not find Zoya OTT in yesterday's episode, Di.

The episode brought a smile on my face and it was not only because of AsYa's scenes but also the last SM scene.
The precap also looks very promising.

I don't think the episode had anything so offensive for anyone to go hyper about.

I agree with you
I also think it was a joke type of thing and relaxing type of episode but still overdose of Zoya's messy ways are jarring to the nerves

you nailed it right.the episode was nice esp.asad's expressions were so good.he did'nt say anything but conveyed everything.zoya wants asad to loosen up,be less serious and take life lightly.she wants him to be alittle less perfect.anyway,i enjoyed the scene bcoz it was nicely done.
