Also bringing up the old scenes just showed me how hot they used to be and how stale they are now. The date dance was sexy as hell - Asad was a man, in control (despite his Woh-Actually) and Zoya was being childish without being immature and OTT. The balance that existed before has disappeared and that's mostly because of the writing. Gul/Arshad/Lalit need to come back full time and the writers need to improve drastically. Till that moment, for me atleast, the love story is non-existent.
WORD! The passion that was there before is now completely reduced to cuteness and cheese. Sigh. how I miss that. He was truly more of a man back then. I think they've magnified his fear of losing her a little TOO MUCH. It's made him really worrisome and, excuse my language, a bit of a pussy with her. In spanish he would be called a "perrito faldero" just there to fulfill her every whim and want. Which is okay to a certain extent, but come on. Where's that heat, that chemistry that made us love you guys??
Yeah this change in track, director and frankly Gul's brain is really ruining, if not already ruined, the once sizzling couple.
